Antonis’s place exceeded expectations in every way. Our host, George (father of Antonis) greeted us with wine, treats, welcoming words, and two adorable dogs - we felt at home and began relaxing immediately. The grounds were even better than the photos - the house is spacious, comfortable, gorgeous. The upstairs veranda overlooking the sea was a highlight - a perfect spot for morning yoga and evening stargazing. We kept discovering new wonders - the trail to the beach through the olive trees, vegetable garden, exquisite woodwork and masonry; not to mention the incredible views of mountains, meadows, and sea. The sound of the waves all night was a beautiful lullaby. The village is very quiet in early April when we were there. Nothing was open so we brought in all of our supplies, which was good because once you’ve made it down the mountain, you’ll want to stay put until it’s time to leave. - no quick trips into town from there! Def bring a sturdy vehicle! Can’t wait to go back!

Everything was just great. The place absolutely matches the pictures. The location is beautiful and the view is priceless. The landlord waited for us on arrival and showed us everything. Before leaving, he came to us again, said goodbye and we even received gifts such as wine, oil and raki. Upon arrival, the fridge was filled with a few things. In case of problems, Defkalion was always quick to respond. Your accommodation is easy to relax. In the village, there is a small supermarket and some taverns for eating within walking distance. We are absolutely thrilled and highly recommend this place. We really thank you for your great hospitality and for this beautiful place.

Excellent location and house

We just had a wonderful week at Villa Filamenia! Lovers of nature and tranquility, this is the place for you! Located in the middle of olive trees and with the company every morning of a flock of sheep, it's a dream place! Of course you need a car and a GPS to get there! Beautiful beaches are a 15-minute drive away. The villa is very modern and comfortable and furnished with great taste. Christos was very responsive at all times and this remains a very positive point. I highly recommend this place where I will gladly come back!

Beautiful apartment, stunning location and view. The bedroom was very quiet and peaceful. Lovely hot water showers and reliable wifi. Excellent, prompt communication with the host.

We spent 3 weeks in Marirena's house. We loved everything: Marirena is absolutely charming and attentive, the house is as described in the listing. The gray sand beach, very close with sun loungers reserved for rent and a very nice umbrella. Very close,tavernas where we enjoyed an addition to 4 adults below 30 euros... a real joy for those who like to live with the Cretans, calm and not the crowds of very touristy sites. Our last night we spent it at Marirena's kind neighbor over the raki…

This is our second stay at Sofia’s house, just as lovely as before. Sofia is a great host always ready to help. The view is amazing as always and the food delicious. A very relaxing holiday.

We absolutely enjoyed the stay. The surroundings are very quiet, except for the sheep and dogs you can hardly hear anything. The sheep were definitely a little highlight. The place is nice, clean and well equipped. In about 20 minutes you can walk to the sea and the large beach of Triopetra is great. The taverns in the area unfortunately don't open until mid-April, but that was no problem for us. You definitely need a car to get to the place, but the drive offers picturesque views. The neighbors were absolutely friendly and even invited us to an evening with good food and drink, traditional music and traditional dance. We took the people with their warm, hospitable nature directly to heart. We would highly recommend the stay to anyone looking for peace and quiet and wanting to immerse themselves in local life. Panagiotis is also a person with a big heart. He wanted to get to know us and brought us pastries.
