Tralhariz House with view of Tua Dam

DavidRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We booked spontaneously and Fernando was very responsive, friendly and helpful despite being 200kms away. Very quiet place with great view.
A rustic stone bench is positioned beside a modern glass door, enhancing the connection between old and new architecture. The textured stone wall and soft lighting from a wall lantern provide a cozy entrance to the home.

Villar Houses | Casa da Laja

NancyRating, 5 stars30 months ago
If you want to immerse yourself in a wonderful culture in a fairly remote place, and in a spectacular house, this is the place for you! The house is perfectly beautiful, nestled in an old historic village where everyone knows everyone, and sheep walk through some mornings guided by local shepherds. We didn't want a tourist place, and what we got is a beautiful area and beautiful people. It was an incredible experience in an incredible place.
The large swimming pool is surrounded by a stone patio, offering ample space for relaxation. Lush greenery and a decorative potted plant enhance the area. The backdrop features rustic buildings and trees against a clear blue sky.

Casa da Regadinha | Country House

CarlaRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Whatever criteria is involved in the "Superhost" badge, Ana and Teresa surely deserve it. We never felt so welcome. Teresa greeted us warmly with local delicacies and was easily reachable and very fast to respond while respectful of our privacy. In addition to being very comfortable, the house is so spotless, well equipped and organized, it left us impressed. We were provided with ample complimentary kitchen and bathroom supplies like shampoo, soaps, coffee etc The patio and pool-side seating areas are lovely to spend time enjoying the sun or fresh air under a parasol. The kitchen is a dream. Between the appliances, utensils and dinnerware and the gas stove, you won't want to go back to your kitchen. We made good use of the AC and fans in the unseasonably warm weather when we were not in the pool, which was cleaned every day and so warm from being exposed to the sun all day. We are eager to come back and enjoy the clear skies above Casa da Regadinha and Ana and Teresa's hospitality.
The image showcases a rural landscape framed by trees and shrubs, with a stone wall in the foreground. Beyond the wall, white lounge chairs are visible, and a dark canopy provides shade. The surrounding area features gentle hills and natural greenery.

Village House

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Rosa and her husband are lovely people and very helpful with whatever you need. The house has everything needed for a long stay and the surrounding countryside is breathtakingly beautiful. The drive to Trancoso is stunning and I could do it every day and not get bored. Highly recommend for short or long stays.
A rustic stone wall is featured with a wooden planter box, filled with various plants, adding greenery to the exterior. The entrance to a doorway is visible in the background, framed by weathered stone, highlighting the charming character of the surroundings.

CASA DO PENEDO - A Secret in Serra da Estrela

CarlaRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We love the space, exactly like the photographs, although the rooms seem a little larger, but it was more than enough to spend the weekend. All the extremely clean and tidy spaces, we were left a welcome snack, which was great. The location was great near several towns/ villages to explore, the village where the accommodation is located is quite small, and without commerce, perfect for disconnecting and resting. The house has all the amenities for a well spent vacation, we will return without a doubt. The communication was super easy, all our doubts were clarified as soon as possible, and all check-in data was sent in advance. I highly recommend this accommodation!!

we had a really good time staying at the Airbnb. the host was helpful and the house is cozy and modern and had everything we needed
A wooden deck extends from the house, featuring a dining table surrounded by chairs and lounge chairs for relaxation. Strung lights overhead add ambiance. The light-colored exterior of the house contrasts with the terracotta roof and is set against a cloudy sky.

Isolated Villa - View of woods and forest

JavierRating, 5 stars19 months ago
The stay at Joao's house was fantastic, the location of the house is fantastic surrounded by nature, and quiet but with easy access for a tourism. The house is better than the photos show, the views from the living room are exceptional. It is fully equipped in terms of utensils, etc. and the area has a lot to see without getting around too much, in fact I will need more stays ( and of course I will repeat in this stay) as we have a lot to meet in that area with so much history and cultural richness of Portugal. The difficult thing is, sometimes deciding between visiting the villages, with their castles, churches, and alleys with medieval flavor or continuing to enjoy the tranquility of the house.
