Prayer Mountain

What an amazing piece of heaven! Brandon and his wife were so sweet and welcoming when we arrived. We had to get a ride up the hill which gave them time to tell us about the animals and how to operate everything. It is certain a camp like setting with gorgeous nature surrounding you. It was amazing to have the animals right there and to sleep with the open air door and sting lights all around! It rained at night but the sound on the tin roof was so relaxing! We built a fire, took walks, sat on the swing up in the trees and unplugged from technology! It was the perfect getaway if you are outdoorsy and like a unique experience. They are building a real beautiful getaway in close proximity to Charleston. If you need a night away to clear your head and to reconnect with a loved one then this is the perfect place! Highly recommend-5 stars!!

Rustic Charm with Breathtaking Views This West Virginia cabin is a perfect escape! The log cabin exudes rustic charm with its weathered wood and cozy porch, complete with warm lighting and rocking chairs—ideal for sipping coffee at sunrise. The view from the porch is stunning, overlooking rolling green hills and a vibrant sunset that paints the sky in shades of orange and blue. Surrounded by dense forest, it’s a nature lover’s paradise, offering peace and serenity. The gravel driveway and well-kept landscaping add to the inviting feel. A true gem for a quiet, rejuvenating getaway!

Amazing house with everything and more that you would need! Charles is very responsive and even went above and beyond when the power went out, and it was no fault of his own! Highly recommend and would go back again!

Quick Airbnb

Amy’s home is a true hidden gem tucked into the stunning hills of Wild and Wonderful West Virginia. We stayed just one night to rest before a 50-mile race and couldn’t have asked for a better place to recharge. The setting is peaceful and private, the home itself was absolutely spotless, and it’s clear the cleaning is done with real care and attention to detail. Amy also includes thoughtful touches throughout—like an unopened toothbrush and travel-size toothpaste, perfect if you forget anything last-minute. That’s just one example, but it shows how considerate and guest-focused she is. It’s easily one of the most welcoming and well-prepared places we’ve stayed. One helpful tip: the driveway is a bit steep and rustic, so having 4WD or AWD is a plus, especially in rainy weather or during the winter months. We had 4WD and had no issues at all, but it’s good to know when booking. We would absolutely stay again—without hesitation—and will definitely extend our visit next time!

Forest Glamping, Blackberry Blossom-2 of 3

JohnRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had such a wonderful time here. The tent was beautiful designed with every possible amenity we could have imagined. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and it was super clean. There is plenty of space between you and the tent next to you, so you feel completely isolated. The hosts are super friendly, accommodating, responsive, and live right on site. We especially enjoyed the availability of free fire wood, as we spent most of our time relaxing by the fire pit next to our tent. The proximity to the National Park is great, maybe 20 minutes to the Canyon Rim Visitor Center. We hope to be able to come back and stay again for longer.

Tulip Poplar Yurt

Words can't describe how much my family and I loved this place. Our first day there, we were already talking about coming back someday. The house sits on a gated farm, so we felt safe at all times. There are other homes nearby, but you can't see them from this house and we never heard anyone else while we were outside. It's very private and peaceful. We loved being able to college eggs in the morning and loving on all of the animals. We spent an entire day fishing in the pond and riding pedal boats. We pretty much had the entire farm to ourselves at one point. It's like an all inclusive farm resort haha The grounds keeper introduced himself and told us some history about the farm, he was incredibly nice and respectful. Daniel (I believe) Misty's husband, saw us packing up as he was driving by so he stopped and introduced himself and asked how our stay was. He was also very nice. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with your entire family, pups included, this is it.
