The beach cottage has 1 room and a sauna. The hot tub is available with a separate agreement and weather permitting, a surcharge of 130 €/week. Amenities: electricity, microwave, refrigerator, stove, oven, toaster, running water from a borehole, fireplace. The place is available from the beginning of October to the middle of December and again from the end of February to the end of April.

Nearby is also Salamajärvi National Park with hiking trails and services of different levels. This small but really functional place for a small family vacation or telecommuting by the beautiful scenery and tranquility. Still, the services are close in two directions, Kivijärvi center about 15 min and Kinnula 20 min.

A rowing boat with a 6 hp motor is included, and a 150 hp boat can be rented with a separate agreement.

Villa Kotiniemi is a wonderful destination for a relaxing cottage holiday, but also for active activities if you wish. In summer, you can go to the lake by rowboat or paddleboard. In summer, Kivijärvi village also has great outdoor activities; a full-length frisbee golf course, a brand new mini-golf course and fitness stairs. For winter holidays, ski trails leave almost from the yard, snowmobile trails 20 m away, and a children's sledding hill with a rope lift 700 m away.
