Castelmezzano is a hidden gem and perfect in April before the crowds and heat come, although it would have been interesting to try the zip line which doesn’t start till May-June. It is a very hilly town with lots of steps, but incredibly beautiful and awe inspiring, and we enjoyed hikes including to Pietrapertosa. Luigi’s apartment is fantastic, comfortable, quiet and well equipped. Maria provided us clear instructions how to get there and where we could park. We are getting used to different opening hours in Italy than what we are used to in Australia, and had fantastic food. Luigi and Maria are great hosts, responsive, provided local recommendations and were very helpful. Highly recommend their home.

The apartment is very nice and tastefully furnished. The location is very central with views of the main square. Breakfast is also good included.

Antonello's house is very nice, new and clean. It is in a quiet area and has a beautiful view. I recommend it!

This place completely stole our hearts! It’s tucked away in a peaceful, beautiful spot surrounded by nature, with that dreamy, slow Italian vibe. Yet just a short drive away are the sea, hidden beaches, and stunning hiking trails. It was magical. The accommodation was perfect: warm, beautifully designed, and equipped with everything you need, even underfloor heating for cozy evenings and a rooftop with sea views. We spent hours up there! Our host was incredibly kind and thoughtful. She welcomed us with homemade chocolate-dipped oranges and local wine, and shared amazing tips that led us to the best food and hidden gems in the area. There’s also a sweet little store nearby with fresh focaccia, mozzarella di bufala, good coffee and essentials. It was super convenient and the owner Anna was so lovely. This place has it all: peace, charm, comfort, delicious food, and unforgettable hospitality. We didn’t want to leave and are already dreaming of coming back!

Lovely clean home with a very modern interior and quite spacious inside. Peaceful setting with beautiful views of the countryside and Montesano sulla Marcellana. Wonderful hosts.

My family and I stayed at the house on Saturday for a weekend, the apartment was equipped with all services and close to a public parking lot. It is also located in a strategic location to visit various areas of Cilento. Saturday is a helpful and kind host.

Bettina's place, the Borgo, is one of a kind. Nestled in the Cilento mountains, we woke up to the sounds of bird song and cow bells. From our terrace, we could view the sea, and at night the stars and twinkling lights of towns across the valley. Casa Sottana where we stayed is very well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was quite chilly weather when we visited, but it was easy to fire up the wood stove which quickly got the radiators throughout the house nicely warmed up. If you enjoy peace and quiet and being surrounded by nature, we highly recommend Bettina's place.

Once again, everything is perfect!
