Apartment vacation rentals in Pigi

This was one of the nicest AirBnB apartments I have rented. What was responsive to questions prior to the trip, arranging taxi service from the airport. Even though our flight was two hours late and we didn't arrive until 10 pm she was there to greet us and show us the apartment. Her restaurant recommendations were outstanding. Finally, the location on the outskirts of Old Town Rethymno could not have been better. I enthusiastically recommend this place!

Hatten schöne 9 Tage in Rethymno Die Unterkunft war sauber bei Ankunft .. leider war der Whirlpool das Wasser nicht so sauber und auch der Außenrand … Die Dusche hat in den Fugen leicht Schimmel könnte man überarbeiten aber sonst konnten wir nicht merken Die Lage ist perfekt / hatten ein Auto direkt am Flughafen/ Die Altstadt ist zu Fuß easy zu erreichen und Mega schön ! Ein Lidl und andere kleine Supermärkte Kiosk ist alles auch um die Ecke. Mit dem Check in hat alles super geklappt … Die Mülldeponie hat uns gar nicht Gestört, war nicht laut und kein Geruch oder Ähnliches was andere beschrieben haben

We had a wonderful time at Nikos's place. Nikos was great, he's probably one of the friendliest hosts I've ever encountered on Airbnb. The place was exactly like in the photos, clean and cozy, and the host was always helpful and answered our questions whenever we had some.

Vasilis hat uns sehr geholfen, als wir ihn bereits in Rethymno kurzfristig mit unserer Anfrage kontaktierten, aus einer Not heraus in sein Apartment zu wechseln. Er hat sofort reagiert, war sehr zuvorkommend und hat einen schnellen Umzug ermöglicht. Die Einrichtung war schön, der Strand fußläufig und die Kommunikation top! Es war alles super. Hinweis: Das angrenzende Hotel hat häufig Abendveranstaltungen, die man deutlich im Apartment hört. Nach Mitternacht war es aber immer ruhig. Nochmals vielen Dank, Vasilis und sehr zu empfehlen!

One of my favorite Airbnbs. The apartment is spotless, beautifully decorated, and full of thoughtful touches—truly exceeded expectations. Our host was incredibly friendly and welcomed us with an amazing olive oil cake. Mirthios is peaceful and charming, just a short drive to beaches and shops. The best restaurant is right across the street. Couldn’t recommend more

Huset var fantastisk fint, fresht og smakfullt. Møblene og utstyret i huset var også meget moderne, og alt fungerte som det skulle. Vertskapet bor i 2. etasje av huset, og vi hadde hele 1. etasje med hagen og bassenget. Til tross for at de bodde i samme hus, var de veldig diskré, og det ble ikke noe problem for oss. Alt var pent, rent og av god kvalitet. Ved ankomst fikk vi en gresk salat og en flaske olivenolje, som var både overraskende og veldig hyggelig. Huset ser like fresht og pent ut som det gjør på bildene, men beliggenheten er ikke den beste hvis man ikke har bil. Vi hadde bil, så for oss ble det ikke noe problem, men vær oppmerksom på at det ligger ganske langt unna utesteder, shopping og sentrum. Vi hadde et fantastisk opphold og en deilig ferie, og vi er meget fornøyde med valget av feriehuset vårt! :-)

**Great stay in Rethymno** Stayed here for 11 days and found the apartment clean and fairly well-maintained. Though it's on a main road, the double-paned windows and doors do an excellent job blocking noise. The host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay. The location works well - easy access to the beach and nice sunrise views over the city. Rethymno's position makes it convenient for day trips around Crete, whether heading east, west, or south to the smaller coastal towns. Clean, comfortable, and well-located for exploring the island. Would stay again.

Wir waren leider nur 5 Tage dort. Wir haben uns ab der Ankunft gleich sehr wohl gefühlt, es hat an nichts gefehlt und die Wohnung war sehr sauber. Wir würden Zois Apartment auf jeden Fall jedem weiter empfehlen, da auch alles vorhanden war in kurzer Entfernung wie der Strand, sehr gute Restaurants und die Altstadt von Rethymno war zu Fuß zu erreichen. Wir würden die Wohnung auf jeden Fall wieder buchen, wenn wir wieder nach Kreta fliegen.

Chrysa is a very friendly and helpful host. She answered all our questions very fast. The apartment was very clean and just like in the pictures. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Very spacious, modern apt with a beautiful balcony. The street noise below made it difficult to sit out and talk there, but the view of the ocean was very nice. Well appointed kitchen. Very clean and neat. Mihalis gave us a great recommendation for dinner nearby that was lovely. We had a nice stay here

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht und Blick auf den Strand☺️

Elizabeth and Lily's place is absolutely gorgeous. The house was impecable. Super clean. Very spacious, lots of bright light, and also has automatic dark shades. Towels were super comfortable, you get both shower and beach towels. We had a welcome basket with bread, jam, honey, there was fruit and water bottles in the fridge. Super attentive host. The house is probably the best one in the complex. Excellent view of the ocean, you can see some magnificent sunsets right from the balcony. There is also a terrace where you can have breakfast/coffee. The pool is super close, clean and gated with a keypad. Very secure area. Absolutely loved it. I wish I was there still. Will definitely go back and highly recommend it to everyone!

We loved our stay at the Alice Villa. Location is truly fantastic for shopping and loads of restaurants. We spent quite a bit of time at the villa when the weather wasn’t the greatest and we couldn’t have been happier. Thank you Marianna for the wonderful hospitality and the gifts. Have to mention the people we met in the restaurants and on the streets, soooo friendly. We were very sad to leave. Could’ve stayed a lot Longer. Book it, youll love it. Until next time.

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.

Η διαμονή μας στο κατάλυμα μάς άφησε τις καλυτερες εντυπώσεις! Ο χώρος πεντακάθαρος, με όλες τις ανέσεις. Κουζίνα πλήρως εξοπλισμένη, είχαν προονοήσει ακόμα και για πλαστικά επαναχρησιμοποιούμενα πιατάκια και ποτηράκια για τα παιδιά. Ζητήσαμε βρεφική κούνια και όταν φτάσαμε ήταν ήδη εκεί, στρωμένη, με αποσπώμενη αλλαξιέρα και παιδικό μαξιλαράκι! Μας είχαν αφήσει και παιδικά σεντόνια και παιδικές πετσετούλες. Μόλις φτάσαμε, η οικοδέσποινα μας υποδέχτηκε με χαμόγελο και πολλή ευγένεια, ενώ μας περίμεναν και πολλά τοπικά (και όχι μόνο) εδέσματα για το καλωσόρισμα! Πολύ καλή εξυπηρέτηση, άψογη συνεννόηση και πολύ βολική τοποθεσία, με δική μας θέση parking ακριβώς μπροστά στο κατάλυμμα! Δεν μας έλειψε απολύτως τίποτα. Θα το προτιμήσουμε σίγουρα σε επόμενη επίσκεψή μας στο Ρέθυμνο!

The space was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful view. We especially loved the large deck—perfect for enjoying morning coffee or dining outdoors. The location is great, with a wonderful bakery and market just a short walk away. You’ll need a car to explore the town and surrounding area, but everything is within a short, easy drive. Our host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, sharing great tips and insights about the area. They also took the time to share aspects of the local culture, which made our stay feel even more special. We were lucky to be in Rethymno over Easter—it was an unforgettable experience!

Wir sind nun wieder zuhause und haben die Zeit etwas reflektiert. Von Check in bis Check out einfach der Wahnsinn. Wir haben uns direkt wie Zuhause gefühlt. Regelmäßig stand von der Familie Traditionelles Essen vor der Türe. Zu Beginn wurden wir auch damit überrascht. Wir hatten nen tollen Mietwagen und sind damit etwas die Gegend erkunden gefahren. Die Unterkunft liegt dafür perfekt. Ca 1 std vom Flughafen Heraklion und alles andere erreichbar. Würden wir immer wieder buchen.

Mike was great from the start…we booked last minute and he texted me immediately. He made everything very easy and was extremely friendly when we got there to check in. He showed us everything about the apartment that we needed to know and gave us lots of tips on where to go to eat and to see the best sites. The rooftop space was beautiful and the apartment was very close to everything in the area… We were able to walk to everything! I would definitely recommend staying there… Thank you, Mike!

Great stay, great location, great views. Very close to many bars and restaurants. Not too noisy at night. The only slightly negative aspect was the shower. Basically made the entire floor flooded. Overall, i would recommend the place and would definitely return.

Hidden gem! Loved this home, literally two minute walk to Golden Beach. Katerina is so sweet (she met us in-person, had local restaurant recommendations, and even provided a bottle of wine). The home was perfect for our group of 6 (great value for the money, too). Would 100% come again!

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in der Villa Life. Da wir sehr früh angekommen sind, konnten wir schon mittags einchecken. Das Apartment hatte alles, was man braucht und wurde täglich gereinigt. Der Blick war wunderschön und die gesamte Anlage sehr gepflegt. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

To przepiękny apartament, zaprojektowany z wyjątkowym smakiem. Przestronne i bardzo czyste wnętrze, piękna i bardzo funkcjonalna kuchnia, urokliwe patio z drzewkiem cytrynowym. Doceniłyśmy też bardzo wygodne łóżka, dostępną klimatyzację i wiatraki oraz dwie wygodne łazienki. Mieszkanie znajduje się przy cichej i spokojnej uliczce, ale wszędzie jest stamtąd blisko - zarówno do plaży Nea Chora, jak i do portu weneckiego, starego miasta, centrum etc. W bliskiej okolicy (kilka minut piechotą) są też duże markety spożywcze, takie jak Synka czy Sklavenitis. Kontakt z właścicielem jest doskonały. Nie było też głośno, o czym wspominali poprzedni komentatorzy - dzieci na górze chyba trochę dorosły, a psy się wychowały i nie było hałasów :). Drobne minusy do poprawy: w kuchni nie ma nawet solniczki i pieprzniczki - co zwykle jest standardem na Airbnb. Brak też herbaty, nie ma zapasu papieru toaletowego czy nawet worków na śmieci - trzeba się na to przygotować :).
