Trucks and sedans are fine but any vehicle with a low profile isn't recommended

If you're looking for an authentic rustic Montana cabin experience with modern amenities, this is your place!! Situated between Glacier and Yellowstone national parks, this quaint rustic cabin is located in the small hamlet of southern Hall just off I-90 and 10min from Philipsburg. The cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, and was built by homesteader Carl Cassidy in the early 1980's. His skillful primitive aesthetic and use of recycled materials gives the cabin a feeling it was built in the 1880's.

This approximately 140 square foot space includes a half bathroom (no shower/tub), microwave, fridge, hot water kettle, desk, and queen bed. Smart tv/wifi and bluetooth speaker. An affordable, comfortable option for solo travelers or couples who just need a good spot to crash. New window AC in 2025.

Historic 2 Bedroom home is within walking distance to Museums, Historic Montana State Prison Ghost Tours, Mount Powell Taphouse, Grant Kohrs Ranch, Grocery Shopping and Downtown. It is an easy drive to Philipsburg and Butte. This is also a great stopping point between Yellowstone National Park and Glacier National Park. Not to mention the numerous outdoor activities nearby. Cottonwood Creek runs next door and a park across the street with views of Pikes Peak West out the front door.

The Pburg Chalet

The Chalet is the perfect accommodation to enjoy everything the Philipsburg area has to offer! The house offers large windows in the main rooms of the home, allowing for ample light to enjoy the mountains. There are three bedrooms (one with a queen bed, one with a bunk bed that is a single over full, and a third with two single beds,) that provide privacy for a multiple family party. The house is a mere two minute walk down to the main street of Philipsburg.

Cabin has one queen bed on main “open” floor, 2 beds in loft, (one queen and one full). Loft has a sturdy built in ladder, not suitable for toddlers or little kids. Equipped with gas cook top, refrigerator, microwave, sink, bathroom w/ shower, tv (DVD's and ROKU). Situated approximately 5 miles from the Clark Fork River, and 1 mile from public Montana Government Lands (Pontoon boats available to rent for self-guided tours, please inquire.)

This new 800 sq ft cabin, built in 2020, offers two bedrooms, a full kitchen, full bathroom and a comfortable loft for lounging and watching movies. Enjoy excellent views of the valley from the loft!
