We loved our stay here! We made plans to go and visit The Lost Sea but we wanted to stay the night before so we could see the downtown area of Sweetwater. The house was just minutes away from local shops and restaurants and only ten minutes to our main attraction so it was a perfect fit. The place was extremely cute, comfortable and clean. She thought of all of the comfort items that one could possibly want. A LOT of blankets which we loved. There are plenty of games and tv’s for extra fun. Some of the extra amenities such as the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, coffee maker and washer/dryer were all nice touches. The beds were so plush. We all had a great nights sleep before our little adventure. I’d highly recommend the Carpool Garage for drinks and live music. We’d also recommend the Lazy Beagle Rooftop for lunch. Excellent vibes, prices and quality food. Thank you so much Kim for offering such an amazing home away from home!

Always met with kindness, attention to details, no doubt one of the best Air BNB’s I’ve experienced! In fact, I booked it as soon as I could! Privacy galore, views above and beyond, if there is an issue, response time is expedient! It’s the kind of place you don’t want anyone else to know about so you can have it for yourself again! That wouldn’t be fair to the hosts however! Lots to do in the local area, and one would never think the world existed once on top of that mountain. Loved the hiking trails, adventures galore. It’s a place that only once experienced, can be truly appreciated! They have other cottages and cabins as well that are equally as sweet and will meet all your needs as a guest. They truly do live to serve. Blessed are the feet that walk upon a mountain which share the Gospel of Christ. You just gotta go, even if I am making it difficult for next year to book it at around the same time as I was able this year!

We love staying at Lake Awana. It’s peaceful, beautiful and quiet. Karen is a great communicator and very responsive. We love it so much we have stayed multiple times. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Tracy was so welcoming, we felt right at home! She even provided some special snacks for my daughter based upon our conversations. It was such a lovely stay and we felt well cared for! Definitely would love to stay again and relax by the pool and watch the deer!

Heidi and Scott were so warm and welcoming! Their spot was the perfect place to rest in the middle of a long car trip. Wish I could have stayed for longer to explore the area more. Heidi and Scott gave me so many great recommendations that I will have to come back! The camper was awesome and the porch was the perfect spot to relax and watch the goats :)

This log cabin feeling home was well appointed and a relaxing place to stay. It's well back off the road which was exactly what we were looking for. Plenty of room for my truck and boat. A couple of towns are within 15 mins or so but we also ate at the local diner 1/2mile down the road and enjoyed that was well.

Without a doubt, my favorite AirBNB to date. It is exactly the type of place I would love to call home, and Barb and Greg were just the most accommodating hosts. We had plans to get out and spend most of our time looking for things to do, but ended up spending so much time at the apartment, because the farm is idyllic and being there, reading a book that Barb supplied, was exactly what I needed. There was not one thing that we lacked during our stay. Barb has thought of everything, including snacks, teas, essential out diffuser (my fav), and a well equipped kitchen. If you love nature, wildlife, and gorgeous landscape, this is the place for you. Finding new friends, in Barb, Greg and Tucker were an added bonus. Thank you for a STELLAR stay!

I almost don’t want to leave this review because I want to keep this hidden gem all to myself—but it absolutely deserves the recognition! This stay was a dream come true. It felt completely off the grid yet still had all the comforts we needed. Secluded, peaceful, and beautifully serene. From the scenic drive in to the spotless home, the thoughtful layout, the inviting covered porches, and the soothing sounds of the nearby river—every detail was perfect. There were even extra activities and spaces to enjoy that made the stay even more special. We’ve been exploring local Airbnb stays for months, and Rosette and Martin’s home is hands down the best we’ve found. We’ll definitely be back—next time, we plan to spend even more time walking and relaxing by the river!
