Vacation rentals with breakfast in Petone

Sayuri was very friendly and welcoming. Beautiful clean and spacious enviroment. Close to the botanical gardens and downtown via the cable car. Love the area. Very accommodating with later checkout times. Will stay again! Thank you Sayuri for making my first stay in Wellington a comfortable and memorable one.

Absolutely love the place. It would be great to have a heat pump to warm the place up for safety reasons especially when taking children or toddlers. The dryer did take a long time to dry washing but still recommend this place to anyone who is travelling to Wellington for a weekend away or for work.

We’ve stayed at a lot of wonderful places in our many travels around the world and this place is at the very top of the list! We have never stayed at any location more beautiful nor more secluded nor more welcoming. Champagne on arrival and continental breakfast and fixings in the fridge and in the cabinet. The house is incredible and the hospitality is outstanding. Would highly recommend getting a chef’s dinner as it was remarkable and delicious particularly when paired with Man of War wine. Definitely take the morning walk and take full advantage of the bathtub. We had a bath every single night as the stars appeared in the sky, and it was the most romantic and wonderful thing I think either one of us can remember. In addition to all of that wonderful playlists were available for music and such a beautifully appointed home with comfortable beds (Nothing else to say really other than we really hope to come back someday soon and experience the treasure once again!).

The property is very central to the main street with restaurants and activities, only a short walk and was very close to brewtown which was great for us as I had an event there. The host is very responsive and accommodating, we will definitely be checking availability here next time we are in the area.

We had a great stay here. The house is lovely and has great views over the water. We had our own car and access to all parts of Wellington was easy. We’re quite a bit fitter for the walk up the stairs each day, but the cable car access is great also.

I couldn't fault Leah's place or my stay there. The place itself had everything I needed and was also in a great location, close to supermarkets, eateries and activities on the main street. It was quiet and I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location to visit elderly parents at local retirement village. Close to shops, beach and transport, which was also ideal. Very clean, well appointed. Noisy, as stated, but that was OK. John kindly turned in the lights and heaters for our delayed midnight arrival.

Homely apartment with everything you need. Had a lovely 7 stay at Rhys's apartment it was the perfect home away from home. The location so close to the city with all Major shops & attractions were within walking distance which made exploring the city really easy. The apartment is spacious, bright, as described and shown in photos. Bed was extremely comfortable. Check-in was effortless. Rhys the host available and easy to communicate with. What a perfect spot. So central yet quiet and beautifully fitted out. The little touches like bathrobes, marshmallows for the hot chocolate and a bikkie for a cuppa were lovely. The added discovery of a cool whiskey bar downstairs (not that you would have known!) was a treat. Would definitely recommend.

We really appreciated Alistair and Shelia's hospitality. They were the best hosts we have experienced with Airbnb rentals. The living accommodations were very comfortable and provided the space we needed to rest, do laundry, visit Wellington, and prepare for the next stage of our trip to South Island. We appreciated the closeness to bus and train routes into Wellington and to the Interislander Ferry to Picton.

Absolutely beautiful place: well designed, spotless, and comfortable, with a stunning view over Wellington harbor. The funicular access adds a bit of magic to the experience. Lovely, simple breakfast left for us. The location is perfect—a short walk from Wellington’s central business district. Loved our stay here.

The room was clean and clean as pictured. There were also many supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it convenient.I recommend it.

Arriving for a very cold Wellington weekend, we found our lodging to be warm and cosy. Fiona had left freshly baked Anzac biscuits to welcome us, and a still warm, home baked loaf of bread arrived later in the afternoon. With the fresh fruit, meusli, yogurt and home made jams and preserves, also provided we enjoyed a feast each morning for breakfast. The bed was super comfy made up with high quality linens and pillows. The shower was hot and had strong water pressure. Fiona was a wonderful host, we appreciated her kind gestures and easy communication. We loved the proximity to family in Aro valley and the very short walk or Uber trip to reach Wellington City. We will certainly stay here again and will highly recommend this airbnb to friends and family.

Great apartment tucked away in the thick of it all — easy walking distance from Te Papa museum and the waterfront, easy Uber rides to Wētā Workshop and the airport, easy access to loads of restaurants and bars on Cuba Street. We had less than 48 hours in Wellington but this stylish place helped us make the most of it.

This home’s 180+ degree views encompass a wide sailboard and surfers beach, Wellington airport’s final-approach flight path (which is quiet) and the mouth of Wellington Harbor. Therefore it is fun, fascinating and fulfilling.

It's a wonderful house with a garden-like yard, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and cozy. The host is very friendly and helped us plan our bus routes with great enthusiasm. The rooms are fully equipped, and both the host and the rooms made me and my daughter feel very warm.

Jan is a most kind, caring, and thoughtful host. She genuinely cares about the wellbeing of her guests. She is industrious and proactive day and night providing a first class base for our exploration of Wellington. Can't recommend her place more highly!

Robyn's family is very welcoming, and Grandma recommended us a very worthwhile sight for our first day trip to Wellington.Grandpa helped us carry our luggage to the room.The layout of the room is very cozy, with lots of art and souvenirs from all over the world.Grandma was worried that the clothes we brought were not warm enough, and recommended the farmers shop to us, saying that the wool sweater there was of good quality, very considerate.

Lovely, friendly hosts. House with lots of character. Very roomy and comfortable accomodation. Breakfast was a bonus. Walkable to/from Wellington Central if you don't mind a few slopes but, under $10 for an Uber taxi. Highly recommended.

A great place to stay. Handy to Petone and getting on the motorway to Wellington. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. An idyllic location nestled amongst the trees with stunning views over Wellington harbour towards the city. Highly recommended. We would definitely stay there again.

Great hosts and a great old house. Annie even drove us to a restaurant and helped me with my washing.
