From here you can walk on hiking trails to the Mosel or the Rhine. The construction trailer has a bed, small kitchen and a wood stove. It is 100 steps to the shower and 200 to the toilet! A two-bedroom stylish and comfortable holiday apartment for up to four, with a terrace and picture-perfect view of the valley and mountains below. A cedar barrel sauna is available (at extra cost). The entire apartment was renovated in March 2024, including a new sauna oven (it gets really, really hot now), acoustic paneling, new kitchen with Bosch appliances (oven, dishwasher), rain-water shower, a washing machine with dryer, and new beds. Our vacation home is located in a wildly romantic side valley between Hunsrück and Moselle and is only 9 km away from the well-known wine town of Zell Moselle. In Altlay, about 1.5 km away, there is a restaurant. Our vacation home is surrounded by forest and meadows. The Altlayer Bach flows right by the house. The picturesque, 200-year-old quarry stone building was renovated in 2022 and has a new bathroom, kitchen, underfloor heating and an open fireplace.

Ideally located for hiking and cycling. Geierlay suspension rope bridge is only 7 km away. Moselle is about 15 km away. In the village, there is a restaurant, a kebab snack bar and shopping. A gas station, banks, doctors, as well as a pharmacy are also on site.
