If I go to Penang again, this is the accommodation I will revisit without hesitation!!!

Amazing place to stay with friends and family. The place is not only as beautiful as in the picture, it is also very spacious, comfortable and is equipped with everything you need to relax. Utensil, fridge, induction cooker, pot, kettle, water filter machine with hot/cold water, you name it. Cleanliness is very important factor to me, and this place get a 5/5 stars from me, its clean and odorless! I will definitely come back again.

Everything was walkable and super accessible — shops, restaurants, and public transport were all just a short stroll away. It made exploring the area so easy and enjoyable. We loved this place and would return. Our host was very responsive and gave great recommendations. The shop house is unique. We loved the location close to restaurants, bus stop, shopping. Campbell Street and Chowastra Market were an easy walk. The home is in the city, so there can be noises, but that’s a big city. The bed was comfortable, one of the best I’ve had in Malaysia. There are stairs to get to this unit, so that’s something to note. We hope to return and stay here in the future or any of the other properties at this location!

nice and comfy stay!

Superb experience. Impeccable, spacious and superbly decorated house. The mattresses were very comfortable and the bed linens very clean. I would recommend it 100%. The staff was very friendly and helped us with our very large amount of luggage that they kept to facilitate our arrival as well as our departure. There were 9 of us and we were all on the same page. This shop house was a great place to stay, especially if you want to experience old Georgetown from a base right in the heart of the historical city. The house is over 100 years old yet looks as new as can be on the inside. Modern elements such as running water and electricity have clearly been added and upgraded recently. Demi and her husband are doing a great job of preserving the old and managing newer expectations extremely well. My advice is don’t go to Georgetown without staying at Demi’s place

Hi Ivy Yes we had a lovely and most comfortable 2nite stay at your Homey House. Everything was provided .. drinks, shower creams, hairdryers, toilet rolls etc etc .. air cond in every rooms and the hall .. the honey house is so well lit .. very nice environment.. We will definitely recommend friends to stay .. and we will returned too .. Thank you very much ..

This Airbnb is a gem! The location is excellent, with a fantastic coffee shop and great food right outside the door. The home itself is beautiful, offering plenty of space and super comfortable beds. We loved the nice outdoor area for relaxing. Having a new washer in the unit was a big plus, and the coffee shop steps away is like an on-site restaurant. Highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay!

very nice of the place

The house is amazing. We had friends and family flying in for a wedding for a few days, the place was just nice to have simple catchup to with some friends and family who came down. We love that it has 2 living halls and a big dining area, we had different small groups hanging out in each area and not forgetting the rooftop was a nice hangout spot too. Things to improve….There is a big space on the 2nd floor too, however the aircond wasn’t working, if not that too will be a nice hangout space. Also the extra mattresses is more like a comforters, it’s too thin and not suitable for sleeping. But overall, our family totally enjoyed a serene stay. 5stars for service as well, check in was easy and responses were excellent. Even when we had left behind our belongings after check out, we were able to retrieve it with ease. Thanks!
