Place was exactly as pictured. Everything was clean and kitchen was well stocked. Rooms are a little tight with no dresser storage but was fine for a 3 night stay. We really enjoyed the common space areas and would highly recommend this house and this host.

Kyle was a great host! He responded quickly to questions when needed. Some of the decor truly fits the history of the home. Next time we are in town, we will be checking availability. Thanks Kyle!

We had a wonderful stay here. The kids really enjoyed the game room space downstairs.

We were getting ready for our wedding and it was roomy the back porch had beautiful lighting a grill we were able to grill food with family do Bible study in the morning have a cup of coffee and it was peaceful there was not a lot of traffic not a lot of cars screaming by, beautiful tree, beautiful yard kept pristine. I would definitely go back again and recommend to anyone they definitely are super hosts. I love the fact that there was Bibles there there was reading material there there was some card games there they had local coffee all the amenities you needed clear instructions definitely highly recommend.

Pet friendly: Our dog really enjoyed the large, fenced-in back yard, and we enjoyed its security. We even had a pleasant encounter with a maintenance man who was mowing the well-kept lawn. We had a wedding to go to in the area, and we had no concerns about our coming and going the Debera's BnB.

We will definitely stay here again. Great location that is walkable to Peoria Heights, an area with great restaurants and shops. Very clean and perfect for a family weekend.

overallthe staying was greatt, great place, feel at home. But the lights in the living room didnt work, My husband mentioned to host they told us it would get it fixed, but it never was. I recommend the place and would comeback if I have the opportunitty.

The entire house looked and smelled so clean. The layout was perfect for our family gathering. We will stay again when we visit Peoria in the future.

This will be our go to when we visit our daughter at school. The location is great, very close to a Dollar General, which was super helpful when I needed something at 8:45pm (they close at 9, lol). Saw numerous deer in the nearby park every day. Loved the fenced in backyard, which was perfect for our golden doodle. The beds were super comfy, loved the decor, the whole place was very clean. The master has a very fun electric fireplace built in to the wall, loved it. The home looks small from the outside, but inside it is very spacious.

Our VRBO cancelled on us when we got there so we booked this and were checked in within a half hour. Host was responsive immediately and it was clean! We had a slight problem with some things beeping and he came over that morning to fix and offered us an extra night or late check out. The house was beautiful and peaceful and private. We did have 3 infants and it was a little hard sometimes because there are two staircases, and only one bedroom has doors (one is a loft and one is in the basement) but it wouldn’t have been a problem with adults or older kids. Our stay was great and we would definitely stay again!

I cannot say enough good things about my stay. The home was very comfortable and accommodating. The fenced in backyard was huge and my pups loved it. The location is very walkable with the Rock Island Greenway trail less than a block away. Multiple parks within easy walking distance and even more within a 5 mile radius. There were multiple options for getting groceries and tons of restaurants to choose from. I had a great time and would definitely stay here again in the future.

We had a great short stay here. The view from the porch is absolutely stunning—one of those places you just don’t want to leave. The house had everything we needed, and Kim’s attention to detail really stood out. My husband and son enjoyed fishing, my daughter loved kayaking in the shallow water (which made me feel at ease), and I got to relax in the hot tub. The home is filled with cool furniture and unique art pieces. Definitely a spot we’d come back to!

Chris's place was incredible. The privacy of it for myself and my dog to run around in the back was perfect. There is a clear path to walk down by the river, and the view are outstanding. I will definitely stay here again when I am in Peoria. Thank you, Chris

Highly recommend! We had a great stay and enjoyed our time there! It felt private, but it was also close to various activities and many restaurants.

We had a wonderful stay at the Grandview Retreat for my daughter's Bradley University graduation. The space was open and comfortable, making it perfect for spending time with grandparents and friends. The interior of the house is beautiful and includes many thoughtful amenities. We particularly enjoyed the hot tub in the backyard and the seating area at the front of the house. Additionally, we appreciated being within walking distance of the Grandview Avenue Overlook. A couple of notes for future guests: beach towels for the hot tub are not provided, and the pricing for the home varies based on the number of guests. The cost can be significantly different for two guests compared to ten. I had never encountered this pricing structure before, but I worked it out with the host. We would definitely stay at this property again.
