Peters Cove Studio Cabin

CaylenRating, 5 stars18 months ago
This place is such a gem, there’s a creek and the bay right next door as well as a well used hiking trail! Lucie was very kind and very helpful during our stay when a storm caused the power to go out. The home is cute and one of a kind, but as she says it is country living. We had quite a few creepy crawlers (big ones) and a few other funny visitors but all in all we loved our stay and Lucies place just feels so special
A rustic garage apartment is depicted with a steeply pitched green metal roof and wooden exterior. A small set of stairs leads to the entrance, while a flag is displayed on the side. The surrounding trees and manicured grass integrate with the natural setting.

Loon Loft - Maine Lakeside Retreat

MichelleRating, 5 stars43 months ago
Great quiet location. We enjoyed the plentiful wildlife such as eagles, hawks, loons, ducks, beaver, many other small birds. We fished off the dock and from kayaks. Convenient location to nearby grocery and retail shopping. We frequently relaxed by the water and firepit for sunsets. Hosts were very quick to respond to all communication. Would definitely stay again.

A Little Piece of Heaven

RachelRating, 5 stars7 months ago
I absolutely loved this place! Very easy to find, great location on the lake and very peaceful! Leon has boats, kayaks and canoes to rent, firewood to purchase on site and was so helpful with everything. The home has everything I needed for my week stay, and was grateful to be able to bring my dog. I will definitely be returning to this little piece of heaven!!

The Cottage at Birch Hill

Hands down one of the best places I have ever been. Linda and Jay were so warm and welcoming. Homemade cookies, breakfast items, tea, coffee and snacks. Everything we could ever need. The home is beautifully decorated and immaculate! Linda and Jay were very proactive and thoughtful! They even left information books about the area, gave us some recommendations and answered all our questions. I wish we could have stayed longer! It was truly magical!

This is a little slice of paradise. I came here to do nothing, essentially--read & swim for a few days in beautiful, quiet surroundings. Diane was immediately welcoming with a warm greeting and quick tour. You have privacy here, but if you need anything, she is right next door. I couldn't recommend staying here more highly! Thanks, Diane! Andrew

Bright & sunny studio near Camden, Belfast

AlexusRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Extremely nice BnB for staying in the area with a relatively cheap budget for lodging. Only an hour and a half away from Bar Harbor/Acadia, 30 minutes from Camden, and multiple other cuter small towns around the area with plenty to do, hike, bike, etc. I loved that they gave recommendations of their own favorite places around the area! Very detailed check-in, check-out, and directions which were greatly appreciated! Overall, our stay here was a 10/10 (except when we accidentally broke something - but they were super understanding❤️) and we would love to stay here again!

Modern forest getaway with patio

EmilyRating, 5 stars1 month ago
After a verrrry long four days on amtrak, being able to unwind in the tub was an amazing reward for sticking it out in a coach seat. Everything about this place was intentional and functional. Loved the suncatcher window in the bathroom and all of the other windows. Location is great and private, not very far from other pretty coastal towns and Acadia Ntl Park. I kept wanting to add on more days to my stay - there’s just so much to enjoy and not enough time! Already planning for a trip back here :)

Desirable 3 bedroom bunkhouse

LucasRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Went here last year, had a great time. It did not disappoint this year. Plenty of sleeping room for our party of fishermen, the two jack and Jill bathrooms were a must for eight guys on a fishing trip. Area is nicely divided inside so some guys could take a snooze while others were awake. This place is exactly as advertised, meant for groups out fishing or on the trails as a place to hang your hat for the weekend. Nicole is a great host, even let us park early there so we could get some fishing in before check in. Look, you are not spending the weekend inside at this place, you are out in nature, coming in for dinner and bedtime, and for our group of guys that’s exactly what we needed. If you are out on the hard water or sledding the trails, this is a comfy and surprisingly spacious stopover point. The host is top notch, will absolutely use this spot again next time we fish schoodic for the weekend!

Shady Grove, a lovely secluded cottage

ErinRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We had a great few days at the cottage! My husband and I were there for our mini-moon and loved how close it was to Bar Harbor and all the amazing hikes Acadia has to offer. Peggy left some great food recommendations—we went to Sweet Pea Cafe (just down the road) three nights in a row. They are now currently closed for the season but visiting when they are open again is a must!

Aimee and David's place is new and beautifully done. We enjoyed meeting them both. Loved the place: The view, ease of access (once you find it the first time!), cleanliness, and the general layout. The kitchen has everything you need and there's plenty of storage available in the rooms and bathrooms. The bedrooms and bathrooms are identical so there was no discussion as to who gets the better view, etc.! Everything from the layout to the conveniences is well thought out. I loved having my morning coffee on the deck overlooking the Taunton bay. Thank you Aimee and David. I hope to go there again.

Cozy Bungalow

MeaganRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Beautiful property, peaceful, lovely charm and lake side decor!! Your booklet was awesome. We didn’t need to utilize all of your offered household necessities but well thought out and planned. Awesome to have LOTS of extra towels, the shower curtain slightly a PIA as it leaks onto the floor but hey it works!!! The added option of cable TV is a nice touch most air b n b’s don’t offer that option!! The barn shutters on the windows so pretty, provides black out for ideal sleeping in!! All in all the cookies were an added to die for extra sweet bonus!!! Thank YOU for sharing your slice of paradise.
