We absolutely loved our stay here - wonderful (and well-equipped) house, with great hosts, and views to die for. And the whales and dolphins put on an amazing show for us from dawn to dusk!

We had an amazing stay at Jackie's place, and spotted dolphins every day from the stoep. This is one of the best holiday places I've been, and my family (and our dogs) loved it.

My kids stayed with Catherine for more than a week and enjoyed every moment. Great location, and Catherine really made them feel comfortable. The place was cute, and the kids would love to stay at Catherine's place when they visit Port Shepstone again. Great value for money! Thank you Catherine!!

We had an amazing Easter long weekend. The house has everything you could possibly want, an entertainers dream! The access to the beach is a bonus and it's a blue flag beach, another big plus! We had a great weekend, thank you Sharon!

We had an incredible stay. Lee-Roy was very good with communication from the day I made the booking, until the day we left. The place is immaculate, with a beautiful clean beach basically in your back yard. The yard is fenced in and safe for pets. Veronica, the housekeeper was great, so kind and helpful and always on time. The house is spacious and I love they they even prepared little beds for my doggies, the attention to detail is so appreciated. We had an incredible stay and it was definitely value for money. A very kind welcome gift also waited for us which was so kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend this place.

An amazing place was beautiful and clean, had a super amazing host who was considerate and accommodating we will definitely be back it was just as described in the pictures. We really fell in love what a gem!! We really felt at home. The house has everything you could need on your vacation to make life so much easier.

What an awesome stay, the unit was very neat and tidy with everything you need. Maria and Joe are amazing hosts. Added bonus its across the road from the beach and I was able to take my dog along for the stay. Will definitely be back.

What a gem we found, amazing view from our balcony even saw dolphins easy walk to the beach which had loads of rock pools to swim in, also the pool was an added bonus. Jane and her husband and their pets made us feel right at home ...we loved the 10 days we spend at the Shack and will highly recommend for rustic Beach experience

This unit was very comfortable, clean and well set out. Having a dishwasher , washing machine and tumble dryer was so convenient , in addition to the beautiful kitchen with all the necessary appliances. You can’t ask for better sea views - enjoying a cup of coffee or a meal on the balcony with the sound of the waves is food for the soul. Private access to the beach without having to use a car every time was an absolute plus! Gillian was amazing from the time we booked with clear communication on all aspects , responding quickly to any questions and was extremely helpful but not overbearing at the same time. We had a fantastic family break in this very clean, comfortable and well kitted unit which has been well thought out. The complex is well looked after and access to a swimming pool after a hot day on the beach was awesome too. Highly recommmended.

It was the most fun i had this year, we didnt even have to go out. Guys were very helpful and quick to respond. It was clean and big exactly as seen on the app.

Lovely place for a family gateway, beautiful view and peaceful surroundings. We named it our Greece house.

We stayed for 5 nights and it was amazing. The unit is so modern and so stocked up that I didn’t even need to pack my own dishwasher tablets or washing machine pods. Celeste had it all sorted. The view was beautiful and I loved the patio area - so peaceful to read a book. Celeste was so responsive. The beach was only a short walk out the bottom gate. Celeste was right to rather go to the beach first thing in the morning before 12pm otherwise it gets very busy and packed. Our kids loved the tidal pool! But unfortunately, the area is not a very clean area especially the beach. A lot of rubbish being dumped on the grass, shore and streets, unfortunately. The only thing I would suggest for the unit is to put in an air con because wow, it was SO hot and humid and the fans blew warm air. Thank you so much for making your beautiful unit so comfortable and stress-free to stay at.

Our stay at Whale's Tail was simply glorious! The cottage is beautifully decorated and has everything you could possibly need. The views over the ocean are stunning and we saw whales and dolphins every day. Sitting on the veranda and watching the sunrise made our stay unforgettable. The swimming spot is a short walk along the beach and the rockpools are right in front of the cottage. I would highly recommend a stay at here and would love to come back one day. Thanks to Vashti and her family for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.

Place was wonderful. Close walk to the main beach, squeaky clean clean and, had everything we needed for cooking and just feeling right at home. Best part was having our coffee in the beach in the mornings watching the whales play in the ocean. Thank you for being an incredible host Steven, you were kind and flexible and so appreciated you accommodating us longer when we needed to extend.

Dawid’s place was wonderful to stay in, great location with Magnificent views. Walkable access to the main Scottsburgh beach and we arrived to a super clean space with fresh linen and towels. One thing to note is that the flat is located on the third floor with three flights of stairs and no lift. Arriving in the rain was a bit of a challenge as there was not cover to walk under whilst unpacking and then having to take everything up the stairs and down again when leaving. Once you’re in though it’s great- child friendly and accurate to the photos you see. Thanks for a great stay Dawid!

The beach cottage is roomy and inviting and feels just like home. There is enough space for big families with kids, and the amenities are just the right way away from the house which is tucked away from the central hustle and bustle - like every beach holiday should be!

Great place for a peaceful getaway. A few steps to the beach. Quiet, relaxing and safe atmosphere. 24hr guards gave us peace of mind.

I would give Justins place 10 stars if I could...it was absolutely amazing especially with the breathtaking seaview. The house is very spacious and the pool is just a bonus. our kids really enjoyed the getaway and didnt want to leave. Justin was absolutely awesome, he is a very good host and what was great about him is he replies really quick. And Yvette was absolutely amazing, she was there if ever we needed to find out anything, she is very kind and caring even towards kids. My kids adored her. This home is value for money. We will definitely go back when we get a chance. i would highly recommend.

A little piece of heaven. Right on the beach - it’s surreal. Lots of space to grab a quiet moment or converge together over a meal with the sea as a backdrop. The house has everything you need and more. Thomas is quietly unobtrusive and very efficient at looking after the house and comfort of the guests. Highly recommended.

A splendid location, right on the beach. The property has a huge garden and the nearby iFafa tidal pool and rockpools are fun for the kids. Deon and Madelynn made us feel at home.
