Rural Retreat in beautiful Ruthin

ShannonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Me and my partner really enjoyed this stay. It was a last minute booking for ourselves and Richard and Ceri were extremely attentive with their responses before and during our stay. The home itself was beautiful and was situated on a little farm. It was extremely clean and beautifully furnished. Not to mention the hot tub behind the house which Richard and Ceri ensured was always at use for us! It was our first time visiting Ruthin and we enjoyed every moment. We would definitely recommend this stay to family friends or anyone wanting a relaxing couple of nights away.

Pipeline Cottage

LauraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a great 3 night stay at Nicola's place. The house was perfect for our group of 5 (4 adults, 1 child) with 2 very spacious en-suite bedrooms - much bigger than I was expecting based on the website photos, so a really pleasant surprise! The large open-plan downstairs of the house creates a lovely social space. The house is light and modern inside and very well-equipped, as well as being spotlessly clean throughout. The location was perfect for us, close to lots of walks and biking trails, as well as attractions such as Bodnant gardens and the beautiful historic town of Conwy. Nicola is a friendly and welcoming host, who provided clear instructions and was quick to respond to any contact. I would definitely recommend Nicola's place to other guests.

2 bedroom cottage on Snowdon

JohnRating, 5 stars6 days ago
Really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and picturesque. Although hosts live on same block we only saw them when arriving or leaving. Driveway is narrow. Garden is virtually private for guests use and has great outlook over (up?) mountains and across stream, which provides a pleasant lullaby at night. Cottage provides all you need for a comfortable stay, except a washing machine, which wouldn't fit. However, Lisa did offer to run a wash through her machine for us if needed. Great place to stay for climbing, walking and enjoying Snowdonia. Comfortable for two, squeezy for four, unless you're really good friends! Lisa was very helpful and responsive to requests but did not intrude. She quickly changed the heating to suit us during a chilly couple of days. Good value and highly recommended.

Delightful Rustic Cottage, Rural Llanfyllin Wales

We stayed at Rock Cottage for my mum’s 50th birthday and we couldn’t have wished for a better weekend, the hosts really thought of everything. The most beautifully decorated cottage, and the fairy lights and music being on as we walked in was such a special touch. We didn’t want to leave! Would highly recommend - we are already wanting to go back in Autumn/Winter 🍂🎃 Excellent communication from hosts with detailed instructions on how to get there and also some great recommendations. The cottage was absolutely spotless and smelt gorgeous, really comfy beds too. Overall a perfect place to relax and switch off. Thank you Mirabelle & Brad ❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Anna has a beautiful barn conversion in the middle of a peaceful valley in Snowdonia. The place was clean and ready for arrival and Anna offered some wood as well for the fire. The beds were very comfy and the place is kitted out with all the utensils and facilities you need. The tap water is from the mountains and the bathrooms are lovely.

Had a really great stay at Maxwell’s place. The cottage is very cosy and has everything you need, it’s really close to lots of great activities nearby (10 minutes to Conwy) so makes for a great base. There’s everything you need in the kitchen making meals really easy and all the additional essentials you need when travelling. The bathroom is superb and a great place to unwind after a long day. The area is lovely and peaceful and easy to get to. Thanks for a great stay.

Afonfa - Riverside Cottage - Sleeps 6

ChristinaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Spacious, well-proportioned rooms in a calm, soothing colour scheme with comfortable furniture and good lighting. Everything was clean and well-kept, and having an extra toilet downstairs was useful! I also appreciated having a washing machine available during the middle of my trip, although there did not appear to be a drying rack. Hot water in the shower was plentiful with good pressure. The cottage is separate from the main house, and there is a small river at the bottom of the property, which lends to the charm. Lisa was responsive from the start and gave good instructions on locating the property. I can see myself being very comfortable in the property for an extended stay since it was so well-equipped and had such a restful atmosphere. Highly recommended!

Bwthyn Derw

SilviaRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The cottage "Bwthyn Derw" is located in quiet surroundings with great views of the mountains. Despite the quiet location, all attractions can be reached in a short time. Sally and Sam had described the journey well. We particularly liked the electric fireplace. Otherwise, the cottage was well equipped with everything you need. We had a visit from dear cat Murphy and two lost sheep. Since we felt completely comfortable, we would definitely recommend this place. If we travel to Conwy Valley again, we would book the cottage again. Thanks for the delicious scones!
