A place like this is not often encountered on Airbnb. A log cabin over 130 years old in the heritage landscape of Suvio takes its residents on a time trip to a 19th-century hut village. The property is best suited for a lover of Lapland's nature, history, and silence, who is not afraid of the dark in winter and no mosquitoes in the summer. Please note: there is no public transportation to the village, no toilet in the main building, nor a shower. There is a separate sauna building outside and a traditional outhouse behind the sauna.

The log cottage has one sofabed downstairs, an open bedroom upstairs and a private, newly renovated sauna. No big roads nearby. Possibility to rent our 7 neighbour lodges (max 31 persons).

Kitchen, bedroom with double bed, another bedroom with 2 beds (access to this bedroom via the porch), loft with 1 bed (width 120 cm), sauna, shower room/toilet, plus a separate toilet and a covered terrace.

Charming cottage with all the amenities on a large plot. The distance to the center of Rovaniemi is only about 25 km. The distance to Santa Claus Village or the airport is also about 25 km. No public transport. The roads are well maintained even in winter. The cottage is easy to get to. If you wish, transportation can be arranged by Mercedes Benz Vito car for an additional fee. Welcome to a wonderful holiday in Riekonsoppe, at the foot of Pyhätunturi. The cottage is in a quiet area, but close to services and hiking trails. In winter, you are close to ski trails, ski slopes and downhill terrain. Pyhän Pohjoisrinteet are only 1 km away and Luosto is less than 20 km away. In spring, summer and autumn, you can go directly from the cottage to the hiking trails of Pyhä-Luosto National Park.

Fully equipped 75 m2 cottage with two bedrooms, kitchen, sauna, bathroom, porch and terrace. There is a beach near the cottage (about 700 m). Opportunities for snowmobiling, fishing, berry picking and hunting, as well as hiking. There is a boat launch about 1.2 km away.
