L K Dhami truly exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, he and his family made us feel right at home in their little slice of paradise. L K was attentive and went above and beyond, even making a special trip to the market for us when we realized we didn’t have enough food to prepare. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast that was not only delicious but also a lovely surprise that added to our experience. If you’re searching for a serene escape where the locals radiate kindness and your host embodies warmth and generosity, look no further than Kanon village. The area offers convenient parking, and with a bit of care, any competent driver can navigate the scenic route in practically any vehicle.

We stayed at this property for four days with our family of eight, and it was a great experience. Since we are from the plains, the first day felt a bit challenging—the property is at a high altitude, and the narrow roads through the hills were a little scary for us. But after that, everything just got better. The hospitality was amazing. Mohar ji, the owner, is kind and always ready to help. Amar ji, the chef, cooked everything we asked for perfectly, and the North Indian food was especially delicious. Tirathram ji, the caretaker, was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a refreshing stay, enjoyed a small bonfire and barbecue, and loved the peaceful surroundings. The view from the property is breathtaking, with beautiful mornings and starry nights. If you're looking for a quiet and scenic place to relax with great food and warm hospitality, this is the perfect spot. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to visit again!

I only stayed at Mandukya for a night and wished I stayed longer! This place is luxury in the mountains, beautiful villa with stunning views and modern amenities in the room. The loft was my favourite besides the 5 beautiful dogs in the property. Staff were very friendly, super responsive and made my stay worthwhile. A plus is that they run a full fledged kitchen, with digital ordering facility! Loved the overall experience.

I had a very pleasant stay at Woodhouse, I went there with my husband and 6 other family members. Very spacious and clean rooms and bathroom. Very quite and peaceful surroundings. Dev was very helpful and always available. Dev's kitchen delicacies are a must try. 😋 Jibhi water fall and Mini Thaliland are on 40-45 minutes walk from Woodhouse. I really enjoyed the 10-15 minutes hike from parking to Woodhouse. View from the balcony is super amazing. One can sit there and spent whole day gazing those beautiful mountains while eating Dev's kitchen made tasty food. I would recommend to visit and stay at woodhouse once if planning to go to Jibhi. It was such a beautiful adventure to hike to Woodhouse and hike was average. If one is looking for good food and peaceful and private stay, Woodhouse is best to look for. It is a great place , away from city life even away from hill town life , we had a peaceful stay there and Chuni ji was really helpful and cooperative , he helped arranged everything very quickly and effectively, if some one wants to stay at peace , this place is good , 😊

The accommodation was excellent, making our stay truly enjoyable. The hosts were warm, responsive, and proactive. The food, served based on the menu, was delicious, with our top recommendations being Rara Chicken and Rajma Chawal. They also guided us to nearby attractions, providing clear directions. Additionally, Door Ji assisted us in coordinating with local taxi services, ensuring smooth travel and a hassle-free return. I highly recommend this cottage for a vacation—it’s a perfect choice for families or groups.

Sainj valley is a peaceful space. Cottage is good. And Mr Satish is further building a tree house. Best season to visit is April-May. Although we visited the place in January when winters were at peak. They provide you bonfire free of cost for which others charge Rs. 1000. Additionally the place is surrounded by deodar and pine trees and apple trees, which give you serene experience. And the best part is their cook Mr. Fatehsingh . He makes you yummy food and tea whenever you want. His best dish is his biryani veg/ nonveg both and kadak adrakwali chai. All in all a very good experience. Only one caveat: roads are little damaged due to rains but you can reach the place anyhow. No major issues there.
