Stayed with my husband and parents here for our wedding week that was happening in the area. The place was plenty spacious for 4 people! Much better than a hotel room would’ve been. Gave us quality time cooking in the kitchen and hanging out in the living room, enjoying the hottub & heated pool and the beach! The ocean view from the dining table and the front porch is STUNNING!! The place is nice, well kept, and has everything you need! Any small things that popped up, Patti was helpful and fixed right away! Would definitely stay here again!!

Amazing views and a peaceful location—waking up to the ocean and wildlife was unforgettable. This was our hub for exploring Carmel-by-the-Sea and Big Sur. A short 30-40 minute drive to Big Sur for hikes, and just 10 mins to downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea for great dinners. There’s also a handy general store at the bottom of the hill. A couple of notes: This is one of 4 units on the property. While listed as “entire home,” there’s a unit attached at the rear with a door that opens directly into your space through a hallway (for my wife’s peace of mind, we kept our bedroom door locked at night). Another unit is above, and one more is detached in front. That said, everyone keeps to themselves, and interaction is minimal besides maneuvering past their parked cars in the driveway. Also, screenshot the address and key code—cell service drops near the hill and the turnoff into the property is easy to miss in the dark the first time around. Thanks for hosting us, Emily & Mason! We loved it.

An Unforgettable Carmel Stay! This spot is a true gem in Carmel. It's incredibly private and peaceful, yet just a stone's throw from everything. Lydia is a phenomenal host – her communication is excellent, and she goes above and beyond with thoughtful touches like complimentary snacks and drinks. The space itself is immaculate, inviting, and very comfortable, with a super cozy bed and pillows. Check-in is a breeze, and you'll feel right at home. We loved being able to walk to downtown Carmel and the beach, or easily grab an Uber in minutes, avoiding the hassle of holiday parking. For an intimate, relaxing, and convenient Carmel experience, look no further. We can't wait to return!
