Martinsville was nearest larger city but hotel rooms as pricey per night as this rental and we were all together and 15 minutes closer. Was the perfect 4 bed and 3 bath home for us to enjoy our time together and Bessie was awesome. Thank you!

I’ve never felt more at home than I did in Anna’s beautiful home! The home has been cared for, and it shows! It was spacious enough for my family to relax and enjoy our time together, or find a quiet nook to read or nap. The kitchen was adequately equipped, and Anna left us everything we needed for s’mores and snacks. The beds were comfortable and fitted with luxurious linens, and there were plenty of towels available. The covered porch was the perfect spot for a cup of coffee while listening to the river and the occasional rain shower. Kibler Valley definitely left a wonderful impression on me, and I cannot wait until my next visit! Thank you again, Anna, for being such a thoughtful host! You were so kind in every conversation, and we can’t wait to stay again!

Love this little place hidden in the woods, away from the hustle and bustle. Quiet and comfy, perfect location to just BE. February weather being what it is, we spent most of our time indoors with a fire in the cozy woodstove. Our original plan was for me to spend days in town for an assignment but when it fell through, well, the change in plans was everything I didn't know I needed. Our communication was fabulous - very responsive and helpful with all of my questions.

We spent a wonderful Easter weekend at Ellison's place in Meadows of Dan and couldn't have asked for a more peaceful and relaxing stay. Ellison was super flexible when we had to initially cancel the visit but then ended up rebooking along with a last minute reservation change to both come a day earlier and stay another night longer. The chalet was beautifully decorated and clean up on arrival and all amenities were as listed, including a plentiful number of towels and and already prefilled Brita dispenser and ice trays. The neighborhood was super quiet and felt really private for the entire long weekend. I really enjoyed the office space in the upstairs loft with the monitor and usb-C cable that made working remotely with two monitors a breeze. We'll definitely stay here again next time my partner and I visit his hometown!

We stayed here for 2 nights for our girls weekend getaway. It was so peaceful and charming. We loved the screened in back porch and hot tub! We absolutely did not want to leave. It was so nice not having cell service and being able to unplug for a couple of days. The driveway was a bit of a challenge. We had to have AWD or 4X4 to get up the hill. My FWD SUV would not make it, however other than that, it was perfect! Comfy beds, great throw blankets to snuggle with. It was just awesome!

Loved this cozy little cabin! We just wanted to have a place to unwind for a couple of days before continuing our long roadtrip and this home was perfect for that. The cabin was very clean and had everything you would need in the kitchen. Our favorite amenity is the fireplace. Loved the quiet and nature around this location. Light pollution is not bad here so you can easily snuggle on the back deck and stargaze. Rebecca and her team were absolutely fantastic. We had a small issue with the shower and Rebecca was on top of it and took great care of us. Will definitely be checking openings for this location next time we pass through.
