Great house in Hora

This house has one of the most amazing sunsets into the sea. The location is at the top of Hora almost next the monastery of Saint John, adjacent to the church of Megali Panagia. It has been built to the most up-to-date standard in a very quiet and peaceful area of the medieval town. It has a lovely alcove for an outside breakfast protected from the sun and a exquisite view from roof terrace. In August, it remains very quiet despite being less than a three minute walk from the main square.

Το διαμέρισμα βρίσκεται στον όροφο διώροφου κτίσματος τεσσάρων διαμερισμάτων συνολικά με κοινόχρηστο κήπο και βεράντα.Στον όροφο υπάρχει ακόμα ένα διαμέρισμα και άλλα δύο στο ισόγειο.Στην βεράντα υπάρχουν δύο σετ τραπεζαρίας εξωτερικού χώρου ,το ένα εκ των οποίων ανήκει στο διαμέρισμα. Ήσυχη γειτονιά ,δέκα λεπτά περίπου από το κέντρο της Σκάλας και 5 λεπτά από την κοντινότερη παραλία.Πολύ κοντά στο σπίτι υπάρχει δημόσιο παρκινγκ, φούρνος και super market.Επίσης καφέ και εστιατόρια.

Billy (Vasiliki) is an unbelievable host! One of the best, if not the best! She even came and picked us up at the port, which was great because we had a lot of luggage. The room is spacious and clean and she made sure we had everything we needed. Billy gave us good recommendations for things all over the island. The sunset view is as advertised and unmatched. I can honestly say that Billy helped make our already great stay, even better!!! This is actuallya 6-star review, but the app didn't let me do it... 😁

Vi er en familie med to små børn, som besøgte stedet i slutningen af maj. Lysets hus er en smuk bolig med en fantastisk indretning, beliggenhed, omgivelser og udsigt. Vi nød livet fra den store terrasse. Der var alt hvad vi havde behov for og store gode senge. Marathi er en smuk, lille ø med få huse og en hyggelig og afslappende atmosfære. Den dejlige strand ligger for enden af trappen til huset. Vi tog små ture rundt på øen og med skib til nærliggende øer. Maden i tavernaen er udsøgt og betjeningen god. Emmanouil og hans familie var perfekte værter og hjalp os med alt.

L’host è stata fantastica, sempre pronta a rispondere alle mie domande. La casa era fornita di tutto, dai molteplici stracci, ai prodotti per l’igiene personale, perfino di cotton fioc. Anche la cucina era molto fornita anche di cibo di prima necessità e non solo. Lo spazio è ben organizzato e facile da lasciare pulito ed in ordine all’uscita. Li abbiamo lasciato un pezzo di cuore e spero di ritornarci.

Dear all, this place was like a dream for me and my sister. Also Chora in Patmos is a dream place. Maria is a wonderful host, thank you dear for everything and for your kindness and your help for any our questions. The place is very clean, very spacious, you can park near the house, practically you are in the center of Chora. Chora is so quite town and it is super for the persons that are looking for to relax and stay calm. It is the best place where to stay in Patmos. Is very mystic town, you can walk around the beautiful houses in the town, and the monastery is very close. What can i say, I will live for ever and ever in that town. Maria give us the right instructions, everything was so easy (to find the place and to use everything you need inside the house) everything work perfectly inside the house. we find inside the house everything that you might need. She let us everything for breakfast and she was very very sweet. I will be back again with my whole family. Best place ever

We absolutely enjoyed our accomandation at Evdokia’s home. First of all it has a fantastic sea view. The house is big enough for 3 adults 1 child or 4 adults. Beds are confortable and kichen is fully equipped. The most famous and most beautiful beach (agrio livadi) is 20 minutes walk to the house. Also the center Scala is very close to the house. We definately chose Evdokia’s house if we come back to Patmos.
