Mathias’s place is absolutely amazing! A hidden gem! He and his wife are wonderful hosts - very warm and welcoming. The place is beautiful and lovely decorated. The view from the bedroom window is like looking to a painting. A lot of nature around the house for relaxing hiking with our dog. On top of that there is a spa with a sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast was very tasty with fresh baguette, croissants, and pain au chocolates! We loved it and would definitely recommend staying here. Hopefully we will back soon!

If you want to find a convenient place for a short stay close to Laon, then Odile et Eric’s place will be perfect! We used it as a stop-off location on our journey back to the UK from the Alps. Laon it’s an amazing city – full of history, great restaurants, public art and a wonderful diversity of shops. Odile et Eric’s place is such good value with great facilities. It is a beautiful home in such a quiet location. Odile et Eric are wonderfully hospitable. The space is self-contained and very private with wonderful views over the garden. It’s a bright and airy room with a very comfortable bed and range of pillows to suit every preference! Eric gave us some excellent recommendations for restaurants in Laon. We ate at Les Chenizelles on Rue du Bourg and wholly recommend it for value, range of options and quality of both the food and wine. We had a lazy 10am checkout and drove back to the channel coast toll-free via Thiepval and the Vimi Ridge Visitor Centre! Thoroughly recommended.

Delighted to have stayed at Margaux's for one night, we had a lovely stay although it was too short. Clear instructions, good bedding, very good value for money. We spent the evening at the Domaine de Senercy which is not far, it is the perfect gîte if you have a wedding at the estate and want a pied-à-terre nearby!

We had a wonderful stay as a couple in this lovely cottage, full of charm and sweetness. The atmosphere is warm, beautiful decoration, and everything is clean. It's the perfect place to meet as a couple, away from the hustle and bustle, in a peaceful and rejuvenating setting. The hospitality of the hosts was as discreet as it was caring. We left relaxed, already looking forward to coming back! A real bubble of happiness that we recommend without a second thought.
