Great place to get away with my kids, peaceful

Our stay at Tilted Oak on Lake Bonham was everything we hoped for! The home itself was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-appointed with everything we needed. Lake Bonham is a peaceful haven, with still mornings and the occasional friendly wave from boaters passing by. We spent a full day fishing right off the property and caught enough to host a fish fry for eight adults—with leftovers! Early risers are in for a treat: the sunrises are absolutely breathtaking. Ashley was a fantastic host—always quick to respond and incredibly helpful. When we needed her in person during our stay, she arrived within the hour and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you, Ashley! We'll be back!

Google maps took us to a different cabin, so I was thankful the host had already sent specific directions to the cabin so it was easy to find. I had difficulty unlocking the door (it had been a stressful trip & was late at night) but my son read the directions & was able to open it without any difficulty, in the meantime I had messaged the host who replied immediately! I was so grateful for that! I also appreciated that the porch light was on for us so we weren't fumbling around in the dark. The cabin was decorated perfectly- no clutter in excessive decor etc. We enjoyed the back porch swings looking at the lake. My son was happy to fish. The beds/pillows were comfy. I normally don't sleep well in other places but felt safe & comfortable enough to fall asleep with no problem & wake up to a beautiful view of the lake. The host was a great communicator prior to & during the stay as I had several questions that were promptly answered. I would stay there again.

We loved it here! This place was the perfect little getaway for a weekend. The hosts were wonderful and helped in every way they could. We enjoyed the trails the sister trees and the tea kettle. We made it to the hog circle and were doing awesome till we heard a hog and made a b-line back to the cottage. We got to see all the blackberries blooming and the twin ponds were beautiful. And even though it was wet we still had a picnic by one of the deer blinds in a small opening. The cottage is beautiful and very warm and inviting. We truly hope to stay again! Wasn't far from town and we took advantage of the nice weather and took a motorcycle ride to Broken Bow for the day. All in all we had a great stay! The best part was how our visit ended. On our last night we heard goats in the distance. I called to them and next thing we saw there were three baby goats a.mnd a puppy at the gate. They ran up to greet us and got some love then went on their way. It was wonderful.

Great country living experience. Peaceful setting with majestic horses, friendly dogs, chickens, guineas, and picturesque landscape. The house is very clean and comfortable. Jennifer and Robert are terrific hosts!

Beautiful lake view, great kitchen and living room space for the family. The rooms were comfortable and well appointed.

The cottages behind the Glove Factory were easy to find, very clean, and an overall great place to stay! We will be back for sure if we attend another event in the area or just because it was such a great place to stay!
