Cottage vacation rentals in Paredes de Coura

This house is in the most STUNNING location with AMAZING views. We arrived early hours and Tiago was more than helpful at this time. We were told of the house’s rich religious history which is reflected in the artwork and decor of the house. 7 of us stayed for 8 days 2 couples and 3 teens More than enough space for everyone to have their own privacy and more than enough room for 10 people. The grounds had fig, Apple and lemon trees which we were told we are more than welcome to use. Aldi and Lidl were a 15 minute drive (we rented a car) which was perfect for evening barbecues (huge wood oven outside as well as small grills) The pool was stunning, we spent most days in there from morning till night. It’s a great size and easy to shade with umbrellas if needed. We left our inflatables there for the next person, which someone had also done before we arrived, which was a nice touch. We can’t thank Tiago enough for an amazing 8days. Will defo visit again

A very cozy house, great for our family weekend. We had cold days with some snow, so it was great to be in the Jacuzzi. The view of the mountains was the highlight.

Very nice space, very clean and Mr. Carlos recommended some restaurants and many places to visit. Great for family, I recommend it.

This house was spacious and in a beautiful location, about 20 minutes from Ponte de Lima. It was a great place to stay, central to visiting the beach, the national park or the city. There were many things for our children to do at the house with the game tables, pool, hot tub, suana and padel court. The property is full of possibility and very beautiful. Jose and family checked us in and were kind and gracious and helpful with any questions that we had.

Great accommodation and great host, we felt right at home. Fernando and his wife are great people. We enjoyed our stay and the house was super comfortable. We hope to come back very soon.

We spent a week at André's house and we were delighted. A family home in a beautiful natural setting. The forest, the trees and the whole garden were very well cared for. A place to relax, unwind and enjoy in the middle of nature. The perfect pool for children. Thank you so much for the welcome, your parents are lovely. We'll be back!!!

What can we say except what a wonderful property. The interior has been recently redecorated to a very high standard and tastefully furnished throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped should you require to cook. Maria is a fantastic host responsive to any questions you may have and gave us recommendations of places to visit. We really enjoyed sitting in the very large private garden during the evening. The area is peaceful and the mountainous backdrop only goes to enhance your stay. The private parking space is most welcome.

We had a wonderful time at the house. Both the garden and the house itself are extremely spacious, providing much more room than we had originally anticipated. The house is superbly furnished, and nothing is lacking. Even thoughtful details, like a windbreak for the beach, have been provided. Upon our arrival, the house was in a very neat and clean condition, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We do have one small suggestion: it would be ideal to install mosquito nets on the windows, so they can be left open at night without the risk of mosquitoes entering. We would not hesitate to return anytime!

On the positive side, the place lived up to its description. Fatima was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our experience better. There were enough parking spaces for three cars. On the negative side, the hot water reservoir wasn't sufficient for ten people to take showers. As a result, some of us had to take cold showers every day. Additionally, the location is situated on narrow roads, making it challenging to reach by car.

If you're looking for peace and serenity, go for it. Secluded at an altitude of 800m in unspoiled nature, you will have a breathtaking slideshow. You will see wild animals during your walks or 2 steps from your accommodation. 15 min from the Ponte de Lima, you will find everything you will need. Rosa and her husband are extremely kind and we had the opportunity to make us offer local specialties when we woke up. The accommodation is very well equipped. The accommodation is exactly what it advertises. A quiet place to relax and spend a few days in nature. Liliana is a very friendly host who welcomed us on time and with a gift. To get to restaurants or shopping, a car is a must, but the distance is not too much. Liliana gave us directions on it. This is an old house renovated so you will find that some furniture is old and other modern but all functional. The cleanliness was excellent. I only tried one bed and it was so comfortable. The pool and nature do the rest.

Gui has two houses for rent, in a nice, quiet, rural environment close to beautiful Ponte-de-Lima. She is very friendy and extremely helpful.

I had an exceptional stay at this Airbnb, largely thanks to our incredible host Ella. She went above and beyond to assist us, not only organizing meeting rooms but also arranging meals and providing restaurant recommendations in the neighborhood. Her responsiveness was outstanding; it felt like she was always on standby, ready to help with whatever we needed. I can't thank her enough for making our visit so smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a hassle-free experience!

Rui, your host, was brilliant and as effervescent as a freshly poured flute of fine French champagne - so much so that one almost needs to lie down and rest after having a chat. He loves his tree house and is extremely proud of his construction. One of the nights of our stay they had the fiercest storm in nearly 20 years - 100 kph winds, slashing rain and intense lighting and thunder yet in the morning both we and the tree house was still in the tree - can't say much about sleep but what an experience. It is, indeed, a magical experience. If you are coming by rental car, and a stickler for detail, be aware that you must drive over gravel roads for a few kms, which for most rental cars is not covered in the contract but if you drive in a mature and rationale matter who will ever know. Like how many people can say that they actually resided in a tree house. Just do it.

We spent 10 days in Joana’s cottage. It was a lovely and quiet place with a great view and a beautiful big garden. We had everything that we needed. The communication with Joana went very well. If you like hiking it’s easy to get to Peneda-Geres National Park, with great routes and hopefully god weather. We recommend staying in Joana’s cottage.

Excellent space with paradisiacal surroundings. We stayed at Grandma Clementina's place Good amenity, well equipped. Small repair to check enough cutlery for guests prior to check-in as there was no such thing for everyone. Otherwise, I can only rate the weekend provided as excellent.

The house is situated in the middle of nature, surrounded by a serene landscape and with a charming view of a small creek. The proximity to nature has provided us with incredible peace and quiet, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from the city's fast-paced pace. Neighbors were always friendly and available, which made us feel really welcome. And for those who like animals, this place is a true paradise — we saw several species, which only made the experience even more authentic. On arrival, we were greeted with a warm gesture from the host, who left local wine and honey for us making us feel even more welcome. In addition, the house was extremely comfortable and well-equipped, always staying warm thanks to the air conditioning, ideal for the coolest nights.
