An exceptional stay at Audrey's – Grain de Sel I had the pleasure of staying with Audrey, in Grain de Sel, from January 10 to February 4, and it was a simply wonderful experience. The place is quiet, clean and very welcoming, offering a real family and warm atmosphere. Audrey is an exceptional host: always attentive, available and caring. His sense of sharing creates a true community where you can feel at home quickly. The meals she makes are delicious, and discussions at the table are rewarding and friendly moments of exchange. My Airbnb room was spacious, spotless and perfectly equipped, with all the comforts you need. I enjoyed the tranquility of the place, which allows both to interact with others and enjoy moments of rest with peace of mind. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an authentic, friendly and refreshing stay. A huge thank you to Audrey.

We enjoyed our stay at Linlay‘s apartment very much! We were staying in the ensuite-bedroom, which was absolutely clean and comfortable. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden with pool. We loved the quiet and family-friendly atmosphere and felt very welcome, almost like at home. Linlay is a perfect host - she helped us a lot with e.g. organizing a rental car, finding nice spots & restaurants, she even cooked for us tasty dinners:-) The beach and a few restaurants are in walking distance, but we recommend to better take a car for getting around, enjoying beautiful beaches in the area (we really loved Mont Choisy!) or exploring the island.

An enchanting setting and a warm welcome that made it the best stop on our trip to Mauritius! The house, located a short walk to the beach, is really pretty and pleasant, tastefully decorated and perfectly equipped to fully enjoy the site. It immediately feels like home. Sanjana and her family are lovely, caring and always available hosts, with plenty of good tips for discovering the surroundings: typical restaurants, secret walks or best spots to admire the sunset. And what could be better than a sea kayak made available to go offshore at the end of the day and watch the sun set over Tamarin Bay? A suspended, unforgettable moment. Thank you for everything!

We had a really pleasant stay at this place. Her and her parents welcomed us nicely and if we had any questions she would be more then happy to help. The location is perfect and close to many places. Would definitely stay at her place again if I come to Mauritius.

I really enjoyed my time at this guesthouse. It's just steps to the beach, and it has everything that I consider essential for a comfortable stay. The room even has things that many guesthouses don't bother with, like hot water from the sink, a fan, and a clock. There is no pool of lounge chairs but that's fine for me when the beach is so close. The breakfast is simple but filling with lots of fruit and the hospitality of the owner is outstanding.

We had a great time at Sandrine's. In a private residence, the accommodation is very well located between Tamarin and Flic en Flac. The accommodation is spacious, clean and modern, the fully equipped kitchen is very convenient. Recommended!

Anaxi is such a nice person who helps you with everything! The day we arrived she cooked us a mauritian fish curry, filled up our fridge and was absolutely awesome! We had 2 days a powerleck but that wasnt her fault. If the aircon does not work its very hot in the flat. But at all we really enjoyed our stay and the nice communication with Anaxi and her family. Check in and check out was absolutely perfect! We got a food package with fresh papaya, cookies, vanillamilk and other nice stuff! All the neighbours are very friendly as well! We had a little jamsession with guitarre and vocals at the pool. I can absolutely recommend this flat.

We loved our stay this past weekend & would’ve loved to have stayed another night but the unit was already booked. It is a brand new unit nicely kitted out with a lovely swimming pool. Perfect for what we needed

If you are looking for full privacy, security, comfortable, very clean space with contemporary decor than this is place for you. The studio was actually nicer and bigger in real life than on the pictures, additionally it is surrounded by beautiful garden. Dorine and her family are very friendly and accommodating and a pleasure to talk to. I would say that it's best if you have your own vehicle because it is a bit secluded so if you are looking to visit a beach or typical tourist attractions, none of them are anywhere near. What is within walking distance is a grocery store, bus station and an amazing market twice a week with fresh local produce. If you are adventurous you can also use public transportation. The bus stop is just a steps away

We absolutely loved our stay here! Jenni and Jon are amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. The room ist beautiful and well-equipped and the location is perfect for exploring the North of the island. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences so far and we hope to come back soon. Highly recommend!

Perfect welcome, hosts available, a well-equipped and comfortable villa

We had a very nice time there. The location right by the sea is fantastic!

I stayed at Philippe's place for 4 weeks. Everything you could ever need is available in the apartment. There is an old tree population on the property and in the neighboring neighborhood, which of course contributes to cooling. There is also a large lawn on the property, which ends with a stream at the end. My contacts Rajinii and Jenny are very nice and totally helpful. Thank you for everything. The bus station is not far from the apartment. I can highly recommend the apartment and would come back here next time. Finally, I thank Mr. Garçon, as he took me very pleasantly to the airport.

My entire time at this place, was like being part of a family. We did something together every evening, and the host, Ian, was like a best friend during that time. It was by far the best accommodation of my entire holiday in Mauritius, even though I never would have dreamed of it. I'm not a very sociable person, so I was a bit skeptical after reading the other reviews. But the relaxed atmosphere and openness absolutely convinced me to come back. Best wishes to you, Ian.
