An exceptional stay at Audrey's – Grain de Sel I had the pleasure of staying with Audrey, in Grain de Sel, from January 10 to February 4, and it was a simply wonderful experience. The place is quiet, clean and very welcoming, offering a real family and warm atmosphere. Audrey is an exceptional host: always attentive, available and caring. His sense of sharing creates a true community where you can feel at home quickly. The meals she makes are delicious, and discussions at the table are rewarding and friendly moments of exchange. My Airbnb room was spacious, spotless and perfectly equipped, with all the comforts you need. I enjoyed the tranquility of the place, which allows both to interact with others and enjoy moments of rest with peace of mind. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an authentic, friendly and refreshing stay. A huge thank you to Audrey.

Villa Alizee is a very welcome environment with hosts that make you feel at home from the start. The location, although not right on the beach, is only a 2 minute drive from the sea-side. It's a nice strategic location for a holiday about half-way from Port Louis and the beaches in the north (15-20 minutes in both directions). The rooms are comfortable with very nice wooden furniture and large windows, particularly from the upstairs suites. The pool/dining area in the courtyard is very relaxing and a great environment for both breakfasts and dinners. I highly recommend you at least spend one night dining at Villa Alizee as you are guaranteed to get your money's worth with a generous and delicious gourmet 3-course meal along with cocktails, beer, wine. Overall, a very positive experience and I strongly recommend.

Villa Alizee is a great place to get started on your Mauritius trip - we stayed there for our first 3 nights and felt very welcomed by the staff, especially Oliver is a really nice guy and takes care of your needs. If you’re nice to him, he’ll make you an omelette for breakfast. ;-) We had dinner there all three nights which was tasty and also options for vegetarians. The room and property were clean and safe. You’ll need a car to get around, but Jean Marc and team taking care of it if needed, also for airport transfer. We used the bus to explore the area, visit Port Louis etc., it is easy to use and cheap to get around. You need to bring some time though, as there’s no clear timetable. But you’ll find out. We would come again. Overall relaxed and nice BnB. Thanks again for everything and good memories. Felix & Lisa

We enjoyed our stay at Linlay‘s apartment very much! We were staying in the ensuite-bedroom, which was absolutely clean and comfortable. It is surrounded by a beautiful garden with pool. We loved the quiet and family-friendly atmosphere and felt very welcome, almost like at home. Linlay is a perfect host - she helped us a lot with e.g. organizing a rental car, finding nice spots & restaurants, she even cooked for us tasty dinners:-) The beach and a few restaurants are in walking distance, but we recommend to better take a car for getting around, enjoying beautiful beaches in the area (we really loved Mont Choisy!) or exploring the island.

We had a really pleasant stay at this place. Her and her parents welcomed us nicely and if we had any questions she would be more then happy to help. The location is perfect and close to many places. Would definitely stay at her place again if I come to Mauritius.

Initially, my boyfriend and I planned to stay for 3 days but we've extended our stay until the end of our long awaited vacation. The villa is amazing, it situated in a peaceful neighborhood and the sound you could wake up is from the birds singing nearby. The room was quite spacious and very clean. We indeed felt like home. Hereby, we would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts for the great service, hospitality and the proficiency of the restaurant staff. Oliver, Hondo, thank you very much for everything, for the warm welcome, for your special goodbye and for your big hearts! Our stay at Mauritius wouldn't be so memorable if it wasn't for you. We highly recommend this place! Definitely coming back one day :)

We had a great time at Sandrine's. In a private residence, the accommodation is very well located between Tamarin and Flic en Flac. The accommodation is spacious, clean and modern, the fully equipped kitchen is very convenient. Recommended!

We loved our stay this past weekend & would’ve loved to have stayed another night but the unit was already booked. It is a brand new unit nicely kitted out with a lovely swimming pool. Perfect for what we needed

We absolutely loved our stay here! Jenni and Jon are amazing hosts and made us feel right at home. The room ist beautiful and well-equipped and the location is perfect for exploring the North of the island. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences so far and we hope to come back soon. Highly recommend!

We felt very comfortable with Jenni and John. It is very familiar. Parking is available on-site. The cottage was very clean. There is an airconditioning. Pool and garden were very well taken care of. For questions and concerns, the two were directly available and easily accessible. Thank you for the time.

I stayed at Philippe's place for 4 weeks. Everything you could ever need is available in the apartment. There is an old tree population on the property and in the neighboring neighborhood, which of course contributes to cooling. There is also a large lawn on the property, which ends with a stream at the end. My contacts Rajinii and Jenny are very nice and totally helpful. Thank you for everything. The bus station is not far from the apartment. I can highly recommend the apartment and would come back here next time. Finally, I thank Mr. Garçon, as he took me very pleasantly to the airport.

My entire time at this place, was like being part of a family. We did something together every evening, and the host, Ian, was like a best friend during that time. It was by far the best accommodation of my entire holiday in Mauritius, even though I never would have dreamed of it. I'm not a very sociable person, so I was a bit skeptical after reading the other reviews. But the relaxed atmosphere and openness absolutely convinced me to come back. Best wishes to you, Ian. Large garden overlooking a beautiful white sand beach, sunset, swimming with fish. The garden allows lunch facing the sea and a barbecue is available. Supermarket and restaurant close by. Air conditioning great , clean pool, wifi Responsive and accommodating owner for schedules Separate villa into 2 units on the ground floor and 1st floor and also a beachfront bungalow so share the pool and garden with the other tenants but not disturbing. Spacious room and good bedding but double beds not very wide 140 cm. Modern electrical socket with USB and French. The room overlooking the street is noisy especially in the morning with a delivery truck from the supermarket. We had a great holiday.

If you’re lucky enough to find availability book without hesitation, the best place we stayed at in all of Mauritius, great hosts, would definitely book again!
