Good place to stay only down side is the walls aren’t very sound proof woke up and heard the neighbor snoring a couple times😂 Great location

The place was really nice with a useable dock on the water. The host was super friendly and responsive and gave us some good local recommendations. It was definitely a quiet, quaint, and peaceful getaway!

We travel to eastern NC every year to vend at a local festival and always enjoy finding a new BnB to stay in. This location was excellent and is the perfect spot for 2-3 guests. Super clean and felt like home!

We had a wonderful weekend at the Upwind Acres! It was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for kayaking, relaxing, and kid friendly as well! The host was kind and responsive—highly recommend!

Jennifer was a wonderful host. She upgraded us to a larger cottage due to work she needed to do to the original place we booked. It was a great location for us. We were in town for CycleNC Coastal Bike ride and we could ride our bikes to the registration area and the starting line. We could also walk to a couple of restaurants and a microbrewery. She was very responsive and getting in was a breeze, as was checkout. Thx so much Jennifer for being such a great host!

We had a great experience in this cozy waterfront condo! There were lots of activities to do around the area, but we also felt comfortable staying in and taking in all the beautiful nature. We will certainly be back!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful cabin. Terry is an exceptional host, she went above and beyond to accommodate a special request and made sure we had everything we could possibly need and more for the perfect stay. The surroundings are beautiful and the cabin is so charming. We would absolutely book again and recommend anyone else to do so!

What a hidden gem! We stay here with our children (8 and 5yo). The house was incredibly clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Wonderful view from the deck. The property is beautiful. We fished off the dock for hours and had a blast swimming in the pool. We even saw a dolphin swim within 20 feet of the dock! Oriental is a cute town nearby - we had great carry out from The Silos and went to The Bean for ice cream. Piggly Wiggly grocery store had everything we needed. We loved our stay here and have already booked our next trip! Thanks for having us.

Excellent! Beautiful location right on the water - easy enough to just walk right out and be on the water. Place was very clean and comfortable. Nice to wake up and see sunrise over the water. Large windows made it amazing. Plenty of amenities like deck chairs, hammock, kayaks, life vests, etc. Really just a vacation ready to roll. Side yard was huge and very dog friendly. Even met the neighbor and he was nice as well. New Bern was 30 minute drive away and great to walk around downtown if you want that. Ben was excellent host. Very kind, super responsive, and made us feel taken care of if we needed anything. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quiet vacation spot on the water. Excellent experience and can't wait to visit again!

This home was one of our best stays ever. The house was beautiful and very well appointed! I appreciated the labels on the kitchen cabinets as it made everything easy to find. And the labels on the light switches helped as well! We cooked in and found everything we needed in the kitchen plus we enjoyed being able to grill. And the snack basket was a nice touch! The house was immaculate and very well cared for. We enjoyed hangout there when we weren’t out exploring. It was an easy drive to downtown New Bern. And the property and neighborhood were great for our dog. Jacqueline was friendly and proactive and we could not have asked for a better host. We would highly recommend this home and would definitely return. All around great stay!

We had an amazing time at Sam's place. The location is quiet and beautiful with amazing views of the water. We even saw dolphins off the dock. We had lots of great family time enjoying the outside amenities including kayaks, dock, and firepit. The house was clean, well-appointed, and spacious. Sam was easy to contact, available during our stay for questions, and made the whole experience personal. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect place to stay to visit ny family who live in Meritt, NC. Close by, easy to get to. Pretty farm roads, water views. Great layout and comfortable accommodations. Nothing more was needed, we were thankful to have this great house to come to.

We had a few hiccups on our side with our boat but Tricia helped us contact someone for help. Tricia and Doug were on vacation themselves but never failed to pick up the phone or send us messages when we came up against some issues. I would definitely recommend this spot. Tricia is a great host and she even leaves you a snack basket, which my family loved. We will be booking again.

Great place to stay! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights, playing golf at Harbour pointe and exploring downtown new Bern on day 1, and then touring tryon palace, playing disc golf, and enjoying the amenities on property on day 2. Sara’s is a great dinner spot nearby for dine in or pick up!

We had a wonderful stay at this new listing! The home is very comfortable, quiet, and well-appointed — perfect for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was definitely the beautiful deck overlooking the Neuse River — the view is absolutely stunning and made for peaceful mornings and unforgettable sunsets. Although this is a new listing, everything was smooth and thoughtfully prepared. I'm sure the owner will earn Super host status in no time. Highly recommend! We will definitely be back.
