We just returned from the most incredible 7-night stay in what can only be described as a magical treehouse in Merimbula. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that Sam our host, has poured so much thought and heart into creating a space that allows you to truly unwind. Every corner of the home is beautifully curated - from the stylish yet cozy decor to the comfortable beds and thoughtful touches like nice bathroom products and a stocked kitchen.m. It’s that kind of place where all the little details have been considered, so all you have to do is settle in and breathe. Our favourite moments were having our morning coffees out on the deck, watching the sun rise. Evenings were just as special, with a crackling fire, soft tunes and the kind of peace that’s hard to find. Sam is an exceptional host, offering great local recommendations on places to eat, visit too. If you’re looking for a soulful escape surrounded by nature - this is it. We are dreaming of our next stay!

Spacious, clean, bright, beautifully fitted-out apartment to base our family of 7, exploring the gorgeous Sapphire Coast or just to relax by the fire pit amongst the birds. 2-car undercover parking was appreciated! Thanks for providing such a wonderful place to stay.

Liz is a kind and open host who oozed warmth from the moment we exchanged messages. Stepping into the Box House felt like coming home—a thoughtful supply of beautiful breakfast goods, a huge bunch of herbs ready for cooking, and a basket full of games to encourage conversation and time well spent with your company. Filled with art, character, and everything you might need for your stay, the house was nothing short of immaculate. There is plenty to do only a short drive away, or you can simply stay put and enjoy the serenity. The Box House will provide stunning sunrise views from bed, crosswinds through the rooms that clear your mind, and a night sky so clear, you’ll lose track of time counting stars. Whether you’re after a restful retreat or a cozy base for adventure, this place delivers. Liz has created something truly special—an experience that lingers long after you’ve left. A great property, close proximity to Tathra overlooking the bush. Very clean and comfortable. Tess was a fantastic host, responded quickly and was extremely helpful. A great place to stay just outside of the "hustle" of Tathra.

We had a lovely long weekend, 2 couple and a child and had a wonderful stay at The Homestead - a beautiful and welcoming space. It was a little further from town that we had anticipated, but it really didn't matter as we explored the Sapphire Coast by car. The bedrooms were very comfortable and inviting, the opening kitchen and living space with the gorgeous large windows was the perfect for an afternoon of wine and cheese. Due to the weather we did not get a chance to really appreciate the outdoor table, but the vegetable garden is to be envied. It felt like coming home. Big thanks to Miranda & Harrison.

Bangalee would have to be the best appointed house we have stayed in. Karyn has thought of everything down to the kids sized plates and nightlights. Our two families of Nana and Pa, mum, dad and 2 active young children felt it was the perfect place to enjoy each other’s company. We could find a quiet space when needed and the secure back garden was great for outside play. Perfecto.

If you’re after a special location away from it all in a gorgeous cottage where the kids can run wild and the kangaroos come to graze in the evenings, this is your place.

We had a very comfortable 2 night stay. Grateful we could have our dog with us. The deck at the front and enclosed yard at the back were very handy for us to sit with our pooch and enjoy the outdoors safely. Quality fitout and comfy beds with all quality amenities provided were most appreciated. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. One of the highlights was the stunning, scenic surroundings—it made the whole experience even more relaxing. The host was friendly and responsive, and the amenities were all in great condition. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful location. Probably the best location possible between the ocean and the lake. Home facilities including the pool, barbie and everything you need, coupled with an amazing location for an easy walk to the beach and wharf. Ok it’s not 5 star in terms of brand new furniture, bathrooms and kitchen, but it is comfortable enough for an easy-going family holiday where you can easy wind down at home or outdoors. Peter was easy to reach, but we didn’t need a thing for the whole stay. We had a great time and would recommend for families with children. Thanks again Peter!

Place was really cozy and fully equipped for the remote area, which was really impressive for the price and location. Luke was friendly and made sure we had all the info we needed even though we a late check-in. We were able to find the place with ease, without much trouble. Would definitely recommend the place for anyone passing by needing of stay, however make sure you've made all arrangements regarding food, as this is more of a camping vibe and there's no local restaurants, cafes or even grocery store around.

Lovely location right near the boardwalk. Nice views of the bushland and water from the house. the pool was fantastic! The house is well stocked with kitchen utensils and supplies. Kelly super responsive and friendly when we needed to reach out to her. The only feedback would be that WiFi would have been great!! Thanks for a great stay

Beautiful peaceful property on the edge of town with lots of outdoor space. Our kids loved the pool, cubby and fire pit! Beautiful beach just down the bush track. And the house is very well set up.

Colleen's place is great for families with dogs. Big TV, good internet, hot shower, and a brisk 8 minute walk to the beach, it was exactly what we wanted! And unlike some other listings, the house is *actually* dog friendly - if your dogs love sitting on the couch (like ours do), Colleen was perfectly happy to let us cover the couch with a couple spare sheets (which we brought ourselves). The only thing missing was a pantry - but we probably cook more than most visitors. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed a great stay at Katie's unit. A retro style unit that was precisely as described. We appreciated the willingness of Katie to allow us to bring along our small dog. We really appreciated Katie's willingness to be available if we had any queries.

'The Yurt' was great. It is thoughtfully set up, very comfortable and clean. The kitchen has everything needed, and it was lovely to arrive to fresh bread, and some local produce and goodies in the fridge. The yard was perfect for the dogs and a great space to spend time in the evenings, with the adorable Galloway cows at the fence. The river just at the end of the drive was so beautiful and a pretty special spot for a dip. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone after a relaxing rural getaway.

This house was great for our family catch-up. The living space was generous, and the outdoor patio was awesome. We ate most meals outside on the patio courtyard. The location is excellent, a short flat 10 minute walk to the beach. The house has such a relaxed vibe, and we felt like we were relaxing in a friend's beach house. It has everything you need for a family getaway. We appreciated all the basic food items in the kitchen. We had two small dogs, who were great in the fully enclosed and gated large patio. The garden isn't fenced, but the patio is huge and a good place for dogs to relax. Would happily recommend this house.

Stunning stay - we will be back! So close to beaches, great walks or the perfect place to chill and eat oysters and watch the waves roll in. Well appointed and super comfy, we had such a relaxing holiday and having our little dog with us was a bonus.

Group of 5 stayed for a wedding. Location was close to town. Super clean, lovely interior decor. Easy check in/out.

We enjoyed a relaxing few days at Martin's with our teenage daughter and our greyhound, and all felt very welcome. Lovely home, comfy beds, a beautiful enclosed back yard with deck, great selection of books - everything we needed. Martin was friendly and helpful and it really felt like a home away from home. We'd love to come back!

Sally’s place was the perfect house for our friends getaway. The view and sunsets are incredible and our toddlers loved the birds that visited on the balcony. The house is really well setup with two great sized bedrooms upstairs one with ensuite and another with a bathroom opposite and two downstairs, a bathroom with a bath and a playroom filled with toys. Sally provided a high chair and a baby gate so we didn’t need to worry about the stairs and the kids. Sally is a great host. Thanks for having us we hope to come back!
