Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Palolem

It was a great homestay for a female solo traveller like myself.... Leo and Jaqualine were very informative about the city and suggestions if you ask them. Since i may face commute issues,So, when i called for the first time to jaq/Leo, she suggested to bring a vehicle (hire a government approved, yellow plate vehicle) along with you, that was the most helpful thing during my stay there. Even if u don want to eat out, you just have to inform them and order the food (goan and non-veg delicacies plus veg food) prior but i was vegetarian so mostly i managed my meals when i was out. Breakfasts at the stay was amazing, since i enjoy the serene waters. Safety was a concern for me if i travel out, but i did't felt this "here" (at hotel stays, you have to face lot of strange servers, staff or ppl) it was like fuss-free home and quiet. Wifi was sometimes an issue, since i used to work from there. I think that can be sorted out if, but it was problematic when i was trying for tickets (Your networks might not work here). I was very happy with the experience, two of my friends are planning ..going to same place now. And i am visiting again,, during my next vacay. Cheers!!! n thanks

We had a great stay at the Figueiredo house. The house is beautiful, charming and very well maintained. The rooms are spacious and the bathroom is furbished with modern amenities. Pedro is a wonderful host and helped us with local recommendations. We enjoyed the museum tour at the house, it showcases some exquisite pieces that have been in the family for generations. The house is in a quiet part of Goa, which we really enjoyed.

Had a wonderful stay here. I wish we stayed longer; the place was beautiful and so very well kept - from the rooms, to pool to the open areas. So much respect for the family for restoring this space & maintaining the family legacy. A must visit if you wish to chill & relax at the property. Thanks Pedro for being such a welcoming host!

The name serne waters does justice to the experience. absolutely serene and right infornt of water. The place is right out of a fairy tale, decorated beautifully. only thing better than the place is the host Leo himself. He guided us on all things GOA and made all arrangements. Truly and amazing experience

We, a group of 4 orthopaedic surgeons visited Goa for a conference and stayed at Leo's serene waters homestay at Ribandar for 6 days Pros: 1) friendly host 2) few metres from highway connecting Panjim and old goa 3) dining area overlooking backwater with mangrove forest 4) two wheelers available for rent, lent to us by Mr. Shafi 5) peaceful environment away from city Cons: 1) bathroom could have been better with uninterrupted hot water supply 2) the room was not cleaned and the bedspread and blanket was not changed not even once over the 6 days period of our stay

Leo is a great host indeed. Easy to approach and very humble. Place lives upto its name "Serene Waters". It's peaceful and quiet away from crowd. Has a nice little pool where you can relax and enjoy food. Leo makes sure food he serves is less in oil, spices and is more like what you get at home. He is always happy to have conversations and shares stories about place and what all things you can see. He goes beyond to help his guests to facilitate their stay and make them comfortable. 100% recommend it and if I get chance would again stay at the place.

The room was clean, and had everything we needed. The host, John, was very responsive. He is quiet and reserved, so some might say unfriendly but I found him very caring. He suggested great places to eat, and even went to the pharmacy one night to get medicine for me. The room was well maintained. I enjoyed my stay and felt very safe as a solo traveler, and would recommend.

Gitanjali was a really nice host and the place is done well. It’s a peaceful part of town with a really nice lake view. Both Gitanjali and the help were always prompt and helpful. Would surely recommend! The breakfast is simple yet superb

Lovely place, great location with the beach and shops just around the corner.

In March 2018 my partner and me stayed at the Figueiredo House with our three small children for 4 nights. Communicating with Fatima was great. Even before our arrival she was very helpful, answered all my questions and offered help with transportation etc. The accommodation is just impressive: A beautiful, well-maintained family house with a great history, that lets you feel like traveling back in time. The dinners we had were really superb and we would definitely love to stay with Fatimas family again. Thank you for a fantastic experience!

I wanted to get away from humanity to just enjoy nature and peace - and this place offered me both in abundance. The property is huuuge, full of little tranquil escapes within the area - in the midst of which are the cottages, which are perfect for a solo stay/group stay. The staff were super sweet, helpful & respectful. They grow so much of their own produce, serve that for meals which tastes wholesome. If you’re looking to get away from the city hustle bustle and tuck yourself in nature - this is the place. Would i go back? 100%.

Pritam's space has a really well designed shared living room. You personally get one private bedroom with balcony, and an assistant lives in-house to answer any of your queries and more importantly, prep some delicious breakfast.

Nice clean room, lovely balcony, and courteous staff. Do be aware it is a wellness center, not a typical bed and breakfast, and read the house rules - no smoking or alcohol permited. The veg breakfast was delicious!

Naythen's place is a perfect base in Benaulim. It's a short walk to shops and restaurants and about 15 minutes to the beach (or just grab a cheap rickshaw). The apartment is as described - Mediterranean minimalist style with a big bathroom, two balconies, good air con and really comfortable bed. An added bonus is use of a washing machine. Breakfast is delicious and Naythen has been really helpful from word go. He also gave us lots of recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Recommended.

Very well maintained property and also very authentic heritage property

We had the most comfortable stay at Naythen’s. The place was clean and well kept. It was serene and so peaceful. The view from the house is beautiful. Naythen is a great host, very easy and extremely sweet to talk to and also extremely helpful. Thank you Naythen, can’t wait to visit again!
