Vacation rentals with breakfast in Palmi

This was a wonderful place in which to spend several days exploring beautiful Reggio Calabria and Sicily. Our hostess and host were exceptional - extraordinarily generous and kind. We were showered with thoughtful gifts of eggs, fruit, fresh picked vegetables from their garden and a bottle of their home-made wine (which was excellent). They were patient with our questions and were a fount of local insights and knowledge. Over decades of travel, they rank at the very top of the hosts that we have met. The house was immaculate, modern and very well appointed and lived up to every one of our expectations. It is on the edge of a small village and was serene and peaceful. The house is located outside of Reggio Calabria and close to the ferries to Sicily in Villa San Giovanni. A car is strongly recommended to enable local travel and trips to Sicily (which are very easy to arrange). All in all, an exceptional stay. Thank you!!!!

Domenica was a wonderful host and so helpful! We had to book this place last minute because our other lodgings fell through and the host was so accommodating and lovely! The space is beautiful and the location is amazing. I will definitely book this apartment again when I come back someday!!

Struttura molto carina, ubicata in un'area tranquilla. Ottima per riposare o per chi viaggia per motivi di lavoro. Non adatta invece per disabili e per chi ha problemi con le gambe o con la schiena. Elevata su 2 piani ulteriori al piano terra, si è mantenuto un certo stile antico con ripide scale in legno comunicanti tra un piano e l'altro. Nell'ultimo piano è ubicata la stanza da letto con bagno e doccia. Al primo piano vi è un carino salottino fornito di servizi igienici e doccia. Non è disponibile la connessione Wi-fi, ma da mobile ci si può collegare ad Internet molto bene (ad eccezione della cucina a piano terra dove c'è meno linea). Alessandra ha fornito diversi dettagli utili e si è dimostrata comprensiva, venendo incontro ad alcune mie esigenze. Si fa presente che Google Maps va un po' in tilt e confonde la reale posizione della struttura, ma basta seguire i riferimenti di Alessandra e si trova abbastanza facilmente. Ottimo punto per chi ha degli impegni in loco.

Siamo stati ospiti del Sig. Francesco alla Formaggera per una settimana. La Formaggera é situata in un luogo unico per il paesaggio che la circonda e un po' incantato per l'atmosfera satura di storia che vi si respira. La casa é semplice, ma deliziosamente arredata; la cucina é ben organizzata e dotata di tutto il necessario ed é possibile pranzare e cenare all'esterno, al fresco. Lontani dal caos, ci si riposa all'ombra dei pini, circondati da fichi d'india e dalla natura Calabra. La bellissima piscina e il suo patio coperto, molto apprezzato nelle calde giornate, sono certamente un punto di forza. Il mare é vicino e nel centro abitato più prossimo ci sono supermercati e molti altri negozi tra cui segnalo l'ottimo caseificio Lagani e la vicina pasticceria. Il borgo di Badolato, a qualche km, é da visitare.

Where do I start. Beautiful house up in the hills around 5km from town. On arrival we were welcomed by Vitoria and his family and immediately felt at home. Evening meal with wine was offered for €25 each, glad we accepted as it was the best meal in Italy so far. Typical Calabrian food mostly from their farm. Served outside on the terrace by all family members and w Service was like you would get in a restaurant. On arrival, fridge had water, bread, fruit juice, salami and fresh milk along with a fresh bowl of oranges from the garden. Fresh baked croissants delivered for breakfast along with fresh peaches. The house was spotlessly clean and very comfy beds. On leaving, Vittorio’s wife supplied us with home made Nduja Calabrese and jars of pickled vegetables. Cute and very friendly dogs. What a wonderful family to stay with ❤️🇮🇹❤️👌

Claudia is a superkind and very helpful host, she’s ready to answer all the questions always very fast. She came to the train station to meet us and showed us the town. We are very grateful and thank you again! The apartment is amazing, we felt like at home. It is a seaside flat, and has a balcony with sea view and with a beautiful flowering tree in front of it. We spent 5 days in Nizza in october, it’s a calm small town, it was definitely not crowded by tourists, the beach, the sea and the weather were all great. You have everything you need (bakery, café, shop) in walk distance. Nizza is a good startpoint to visit other towns nearby, as it has train and bus stops. Highly recommended!

Abbiamo trascorso 3giorni a tropea per il week del 2 giugno. Armando, l'host, é stato super disponibile dal primo giorno rispondendo a tutte le mie domande nell'immediato. l'appartamento é spazioso, pulito e tenuto molto bene, inoltre é in una posizione ottima vicinissima al centro, noi abbiamo posato l'auto e ripresa solo per il viaggio di rientro. Consiglio assolutamente, noi ci ritorneremo sicuramente. :)

c'è un grande problema in questo soggiorno: è durato troppo poco! siamo stati un giorno all'interno di questo delizioso appartamento io e mio cugino e siamo stati stra bene! giro il mondo da anni grazie al mio lavoro e ho visitato e conosciuto miliardi di proprietari e devo dire che persone come il signor Pippo e tutto il gruppo, sono persone rare da trovare. accoglienza degna di un 4 stelle, casa super pulita e profumata, curata in ogni minimo dettagliato, una cortesia e gentilezza inappagabile. abbiamo trovato colazione, acqua e ottima frutta di stagione (anche dei loro giardini). Quando volevamo noleggiare delle bici, prontamente ci sono state messe a disposizione le loro, con la messa appunto prima di utilizzarle. la sera inaspettatamente abbiamo ricevuto dell'ottima pizza fatta in casa proprio dal signor Pippo e tutta la sua deliziosa famiglia. ci siamo sentiti in famiglia, davvero! lo consigliamo a tutti, trattateli con cura che sono rare ad oggi persone così.

Abbiamo trascorso un soggiorno perfetto! L’alloggio era esattamente come descritto: pulito, accogliente e ben posizionato. Il vero valore aggiunto è stato Stefano: un host eccezionale, sempre disponibile, gentilissimo e meglio di una guida turistica! Ci ha fornito consigli preziosi su cosa vedere, dove mangiare e come muoverci, facendoci sentire a casa fin dal primo momento. Un’esperienza che consigliamo senza esitazioni, torneremmo volentieri!

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo fantastico appartamento per due giorni. Ci siamo trovati benissimo, appartamento molto pulito, provvisto di tutti i confort (climatizzatore, lavatrice, ampio bagno, ferro da stiro). Appartamento non grandissimo ma con ottimo terrazzino, zona cucina ben attrezzata e provvista di tutto l'occorrente per colazione e pranzo. Parcheggio molto comodo e il mare a due passi. Ottima esperienza.

Kiva asunto. kattohuoneiston terassilla kiva syödä iltaisin koko perheellä. Meri oli lähellä ja oli helppo käydä uimassa. myös linja-auto pysäkki oli lähellä. myös ruoka-kauppa muutaman minuutin kävelyn päässä.

Emanuele è stata veramente una persona gentilissima squisita l’appartamento oltre ogni aspettativa moderno arredato bene super accessoriato ecologico con tutti i comfort. zona tranquilla, non ci sono rumori si riposa benissimo collegata bene tra Catanzaro e Catanzaro lido quindi ben servita che dire forse uno dei migliori appartamenti che ho trovato in tanti anni che uso Airbnb come questi pochi in giro quasi tutti sono trasandati o tenuti male per il resto vorrei ringraziare l’ospitalità di Emanuela e soprattutto per avermi concesso di utilizzare il suo appartamento che è stato per me una delizia.

una esperienza molto positiva...la proprietaria molto molto gentile, ha fatto arrivare in anticipo per noi i cornetti... buonissimi...la struttura veramente accogliente e ben curata... se si presentasse l occasione ci ritorneremo di certo.... consigliatissima

Massimo was a fantastic host and the property is a hidden gem! With direct access to the beach, it is truly a rare find in tropea. It’s walkable to town for dinner, shopping, and drinks, and there is both public / paid access to beach areas right outside the property. Massimo went out of his way to welcome us and help us throughout our stay. I would suggest requesting a room with a balcony to be able to hang your towels/ swimwear but other than that, it was fabulous!

We had a great stay at Alessandra‘s! She and her husband Pietro are lovely hosts, they invited us several times to their place for a coffee/drink, we had great chats with them and they gave us useful information and recommendations for the area. We also made a very interesting tour with Pietro who is also an official guide of the Asperomonte National Park. Alessandra was very swift in communication and flexible for our check in time. The room we had is small but has a little fridge and balcony with a nice view, breakfast was very good (juices, water, joghurts, fruits, toasts, jam, coffee, tea etc.) and the terrace to have breakfast has a beautiful view over a part of Bova, the sea and the mountains. We would definitely recommend staying at Alessandra‘s!

Tina is a fantastic host. She doesn’t let language barriers stop her from being kind, helpful and proactive. She stayed up and waited for us to arrive from our late flight, and also arranged the taxi to and from, despite the hours of our flights. The place itself is in a fantastic location, with the entirety of Reggio Calabria walkable from the flat. It can be quite loud due to the surrounding bars below the apartment, but we didn’t mind that at all. Tina has discount vouchers for some restaurants as well, and she’ll give you them and recommend places. Overall a fantastic stay with a lovely host, clean room and bathroom, breakfast provided, in a fantastic city.

Wonderful hotel like airbnb in the middle of Reggio. Breakfast was good and the mini fridge in the room was very convenient. One thing that could be improved is that the check-in information could be provided without having to ask for them.

check in perfetto, stanza e bagno puliti. Nonostante la posizione sia davanti alla stazione dei treni il posto è estremamente silenzioso. Host simpatici e accoglienti.
