Villa Riza Chania heated pool/Hot Tube/breakfast

DanRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This is the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in, like a 5 star hotel. The villa is beautiful and luxurious. Everything is new and works. Christina the host is amazing, very helpful. Each room has a well sized bathroom with a great shower. A breakfast basket was left outside at 8:30 am each morning - delicious! The kitchen is spotless and has all the tools you’ll need. There’s a BBQ. The villa was cleaned midway and the cleaners did a great job. It is quiet and secure. We slept well. The outside space is stunning. The pool is a constant 1.5 metre depth so perhaps not suitable for very young children. The local village is small and very friendly. There’s a great shop 10 minutes walk away, and next to that is a good restaurant (taverna). You definitely need a car here but I’d recommend you have a car anyway to explore Crete. The coastal town of Almyrida is 10 mins drive away with restaurants and shops. Chania and Rethymno are approx 45 mins drive away. Both have lovely old towns.

Almy Luxury Villa

RobRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.
A flower pot sits on a low wall, displaying an arrangement of vibrant blooms. The background features lush green foliage and a clear blue sky. The structure of the wall exhibits a contrasting soft pink hue against the earthy tones of the surrounding landscape.

Kolymbos House Kefalas

LoïcRating, 5 stars9 months ago
The apartment is very nice, equipped, clean and suitable for two people. Kefalas is a lovely mountain village and you feel safe. You have to have a car to get around, especially if you go to the most touristic places in Crete because it's far away (1 hour approx) I highly recommend this listing!

Villa Dragonfly Stunning Seaview

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely villa with sun on the balconies and pool almost all day. Beautiful view, well equipped and plenty of room. Mark was extremely helpful and responsive. The villa is in a lovely, not too touristy, village with great tavernas, two little shops and very kind staff who work there. A great location to explore Crete from!
A bright dining area features a long table set for a meal, with white wooden chairs arranged along either side. Natural light floods the space through large openings, providing a view of the calm sea and distant hills.

A beautiful country house

NilufarRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The house was very clean and we were received very warmly with all the necessary things. There was oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, fruit and small touches. The kitchen equipment is very good and the beds comfortable. In Kefalas, a light wind blows, so it is pleasantly cooler there and we did not have to use the air conditioning in June - the ceiling fans were sufficient. That was very pleasant at night. All windows and doors are equipped with mosquito nets. The terrace is a dream and you can use it well all day. Kefalas is well located for excursions and you can reach many quiet and beautiful beaches within 15 - 35 min. Car ride. There are also 2 beach umbrellas, 2 beach chairs, an air mattress and beach toys for children. That was very pleasant for us. Manolis was the perfect host, very attentive and we felt very comfortable. Thank you.
A green, wooden door stands ajar, showcasing its rustic design and iron hardware. Natural light filters through the doorway, illuminating the adjacent stone wall and surrounding wooden furniture with hooks. Soft, light-colored curtains partially frame the opening, contributing to a serene atmosphere.

House is utterly charming and authentically Greek village style atmosphere. Private entry courtyard is lovely with garden. Felt very at home and cozy with everything I needed. And so close to town! Dimitrios was very helpful. Even had yoga mat!

Villa Kournedes

AlexandraRating, 5 stars10 months ago
I cannot recommend this beautiful villa highly enough. We had a wonderful week long stay and it felt like home from home. The villa is very private, set back from the road and has the most stunning view and surroundings. It is very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. The pool is absolutely amazing - our children practically lived in it! There is also the dining area and sofa under the veranda, where you can relax in the afternoon heat and take in the amazing views. Mike was an exceptional host - he was very responsive and helpful and gave us lots of tips of places to visit and restaurant recommendations. Nothing was too much trouble. The villa is located a short drive from Almyrida, which has a beautiful beach and several fantastic restaurants that are right on the sea front - amazing views when enjoying your evening meal. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and we definitely hope to return one day!
