Wer einen authentischen Ort sucht und Ruhe liebt, der ist im Dorf Stratoni genau richtig! Hier grüßen sich noch alle und die Atmosphäre im Ort ist sehr positiv, die Menschen sind sehr freundlich. Es gibt zwei Cafés, zwei Restaurants und einen kleinen Hafen. Wer nicht den typischen Tourismusort sucht, sondern das "echte" Griechenland sehen möchte, wird sich hier sehr wohl fühlen. Das Haus ist in zentraler Lage, fußläufig zum Strand, zum kleinen Hafen, einem Bäcker und einem Restaurant (im Prinzip ist alles fußläufig). Besonders begeistert hat uns die Dachterrasse mit dem gigantischen Blick auf die grünen Berge und das Meer. Ιωάννης und seine Familie sind äußerst freundlich, sehr gastfreundschaftlich und die Kommunikation lief immer reibungslos. Die Wohnung ist größer aus als auf den Fotos. Eine klare Empfehlung, efcharisto für alles!

The villa is just a bit outside the village of Stratoniki. Though located in calm surroundings (one neighbouring house), 200 meters from the main road, it is easily accessible. The beach is 12 minutes away by car, the village 3 minutes. It had all the necessary amenities, check in arrangements were flawless and the host provided some valuable information on the surroundings/things to do. The communication with Katerina was prompt and to the point - definite recommendation.

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche im Sailor Home verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist einfach, aber vollkommen ausreichend – es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die traumhafte Lage direkt am Meer. Der Ausblick war atemberaubend, und die Ruhe vor Ort hat für perfekte Erholung gesorgt. Wer keinen Luxus erwartet, sondern Natur und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Ein wirklich magischer Ort. Eine so wunderschöne Insel für sich zu haben ist wirklich einmalig!

We spent two fabulous, relaxing weeks at Stavroula and Gregoris’ cottage. It’s beautifully furnished and comprehensively equipped so you can travel light. There is a pleasant short walk home from the small town centre, ideal after some great meals in the many restaurants and tavernas. Their recommendations for the nicest places to eat were accurate. They are warm, friendly and welcoming hosts who made our stay so enjoyable. A gloriously peaceful spot with outlooks from the terrace across the olive grove to the sea; the most relaxing place to be with a glass of Rose.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house in Paleokastro! It’s such a peaceful and authentic place — waking up to birdsong and hearing nightingales at night was pure magic. Debby, the owner, is very very kind and even brought us some delicious local treats. Her daughter Asthasia welcomed us warmly, gave us a lovely tour, and shared great tips for local beaches, supermarkets, and tavernas. They really made us feel at home. The house is simple but very tastefully decorated, fully equipped, and we especially enjoyed the private barbecue area — perfect for relaxed evenings outside. The only very small thing we noticed was that it would be nice if the showerhead could hang, but honestly, it didn’t bother us at all. We left feeling completely relaxed and full of good memories. We can’t recommend this place enough!

It was one of those short holidays where you enjoy every single moment. I chose Olympiada over other destinations after a thorough research regarding the quality of the beach, beauty of the scenery and family vibe. I did the same with the accommodation, and I can tell you that for a family of 4, I got the best value for money. After a 12 hour drive and 34 hours without sleep, I got to Antonis’s location. Felt as home right away, everything clean and new, fresh and cozy. His mom even gifted us gem and fruits, while we enjoyed Antonis’s coffee on that lovely small terrace. TV, aircon, hot water, towels, kitchen, 2 comfortable ness. Loved it and would definitely come back. The beach is 300m away. Olympiada is wonderfully picturesque, very green. The beach was perfect, the sea even so. Stayed in the water 5h a day, as it was warm, clean and calm. The evening breeze was overwhelming, and we enjoyed the evening walks. Food was ok, but service was great. I miss Olympiada already…
