Vacation rentals with a patio in Palaiochora

We stayed at Ben’s house for one week during our holiday, and it was a wonderful experience. The apartment is beautiful, well-equipped, and has everything you might need. Its location and the sea view are major highlights. Ben was a fantastic host — he gave us a warm welcome and shared excellent recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to try. He was also very kind and always available if we needed anything. Highly recommend!

This spot was amazing and comfortable. The host was very responsive and helped provide many recommendations for food and activities, and was super friendly. AirBNB came with a lot of amenities and was very comfortable, thoroughly enjoyed staying here.

We recently stayed at this Airbnb for an autumn vacation and, overall, it was a pleasant experience. The house is clean, well-maintained, and the location is convenient for exploring the area. The amenities provided were more than adequate, and everything functioned as expected. One thing to note is that the hosts live on-site, which isn’t necessarily a problem, but their presence was definitely felt compared to other Airbnbs we stayed in so far. Nevertheless, it’s a great choice if you’re looking for a well-kept, dog friendly space with hosts who are nearby to assist.

We have had a wonderful stay! The place offers all that you could think of. We enjoyed breakfast on the terrace and would definitely come back :)

The place is really nice and located right next to the old town which starts as soon as you cross the main road. We used Chania as our base to explore different parts of Crete but at the end of each day when we came back, we were able to enjoy some time in the old town which gets really lively in the evenings. Later at night, we would hang out at our Airbnb and enjoy the surrounding views which were great as it is located on the top floors.

Had a great stay in Zoe's place. Everything matches photos and description. Co-host Maria welcomed us enthusiastically and gave us explanations about app. , surroundings, etc. We felt really welcome. She responded super quickly via app and was very pleasant in contact. Bianca, you can be happy with such a co-host! We'd love to come back!

Wonderful stay! The space is large and very clean, perfect for a stay in Chania. There was a bottle of wine for us upon arrival. The rooftop area has beautiful views of the city. Great location for exploring Chania - very walkable to everything in Old Town. Giorgios/Nikos were extremely communicative and helpful with recommendations, setting up an airport transfer and checking on us during the stay. Will definitely return when we’re back in Chania!

10/10 experience. Breathtaking views and sunset from the balcony, perfect location right on the harbor - surrounded by all of the best restaurants and places. The apartment is beautiful - clean, modern, great appliances. (The washing machine even uses AI). The apartment is spacious, comfortable, and despite being in the middle of the action, it is so peaceful. I didn’t want to leave. I will be back here again. The hosts were incredible. Kind, helpful, proactive, and made such a nice experience for us. Thank you!!!!!

Lovely place in Chania. The view of the lighthouse from the dining table never gets old no matter what time of day. The completely open-concept space is a little bit too open at times. My friends and I found it somewhat difficult to get privacy for changing/dressing etc. The bathroom was also not in a super convenient location and would occasionally not get hot water at all. It can be a bit noisy in the evenings, it is in a very central/busy location with shops and restaurants abound. Be warned: the store directly below does not shut off their music until 23:00 and is very audible through the floor. Maria was also a great host and responded quickly to any ask! Kitchen, beds and other amenities were just right, would recommend!

Such a beautiful spacious home! ❤️ Exactly as described, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The hosts are responsive and always happy to answer any questions we had. Alexia also visited and bought some delicious pastries and eggs which we really appreciated. We were also welcomed with a basket of local snacks which was perfect after a long day of travelling🥰 Not as easy to walk into the old town as I thought as the streets nearby don’t have pavements (my fault for not checking beforehand) however it is only a 10 minute drive to the port. So many beautiful beaches to explore (our favourite was Balos, especially if you like animals as there are lots of wild goats🐐) Also lots of delicious restaurants everywhere, our favourites were Almyriki on Stavros beach and Patrelantonis on Marathi Beach 🌊 We couldn’t have asked for a better holiday and would love to visit the Violin House again in future Thank you ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The Location was amazing. Quite and private. Everything was amazing there was nothing to complain about probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. Marianna is absolutely amazing. The sweetest and most caring host ever. She gave us so many recommendations and was beyond helpful. I would recommend mend this place to everyone!!

This place was even better than the pictures! There are beautiful lemon and orange tree orchards all around leading to the property. The space is clean, private, and very peaceful. I highly recommend it. You will need a rental car if you are staying here since it is a ways off the beaten path. I would consider the rental car a great compromise for such a beautiful Airbnb. There is a private spot to park so no need to pay for parking.

We had a wonderful time at this house! It is just like in the pictures – very clean, lovingly furnished and in a great location. The king-size beds are very comfortable. The contact with the hosts was friendly, respectful and absolutely smooth from the beginning. Already at the welcome there was a small, warm welcome gift in the kitchen: honey, olive oil, cookies and raki – a very nice gesture! The view of the sea is beautiful. It should be noted that the house is very noisy. It is located on a small residential street, but cars still drive there and you can hear it extremely in bed, especially in the morning. During our stay, we were even surprised with fresh eggs and oranges from our own production. As a farewell, there was again honey and a bottle of raki – simply great! The hosts were always available, helpful and extremely hospitable. Thank you for everything!

The tastefully restored and decorated accommodation is located in the middle of the olive trees next to other houses in the village. The accommodation is spacious with on each side of the house, a very nice terrace. Neighbors are lovely. We were greeted by many cats, as in all of Crete. Communication with Nancy or Kallia was very responsive. We will definitely return to this house for calm, mountain views and proximity to quality shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay in a great location with the friendliest hosts. The house was large with all the amentities you could ever need or want. The patio was spectacular with a beautiful view and also very spacious. You do need a car for this area, but everything was pretty central to where we needed to go. Parking was available on the street next to the house. The hosts also left us treats which was a very nice touch :)

We absolutely loved our stay, it far exceeded our expectations. The apartment was as described, really clean and comfortable. The rooms were a good size with 2 decent sized en-suite bathrooms and the kitchen well appointed. We enjoyed BBQing on the terrace and eating outside. The private pool was much bigger than we expected and the kids loved jumping into it at the end of the day whilst we had cocktails, available from reception! The apartment is in an agricultural area surrounded by olives trees and poly tunnels growing tomatoes. This meant it was lovely and peaceful. The sunsets were amazing and view uninterrupted. Phalasarna beach was a short drive and out of season it was relaxing and a really great place to be. The shallow water meant it was really safe for the kids to enjoy jumping in the waves on windy days and swimming and exploring little caves on the calm days. Alexandros was a fantastic host, helpful and quick to respond any questions we had. We hope to come back one day!

Konstantinos' apartment is excellent, very nice and well equipped with everything you need, it' simply perfect! Konstantinos and Stelina are also very friendly hosts . We had a very pleasant stay in their apartment and can highly recommend it to anybody. Our stay was wonderful.

Best airbnb we have ever stayed at because of Andonis's (and his mother, Maria, who lives in the same complex) hospitality. Andonis gave us great recommendations and even dropped off a bottle of delicious rose. Maria made our stay feel like a home. She brought us oranges from her garden for fresh juice, dolma made with zucchini flower, and spanakopita. The kitchen was also fully equipped so we were able to cook at home at least two meals a day. If we return to Crete, we can't wait to stay again.

Beautiful stay! Such tasteful design, spotless home with really wonderful staff to help. The team was very responsive and had really set up the place to make it very warm. It had everything you may neeed and more! Super strong winter net too so we enjoyed working there. Loved it and would definitely suggest!

we had a great stay. Since we had our two-year-old daughter with us, the many restaurants right next door were a blessing for us as the baby monitor was enough to reach 3 restaurants. We were there in the low season, so it was quiet in the evening from 10 a.m. You have to know that the promenade runs directly past the terrace and people have a direct view of the terrace. However, this did not bother us. We were looking for exactly something like this and were very satisfied.

Stella was an outstanding host. Her accommodation is beautiful. Everything was perfectly prepared. A delicious cake was waiting for us on the table. There were also various foods from Stella's parents' garden in the fridge. Stella is very communicative and gives great tips about the area. Thank you for this wonderful time.

Gabriella was a great host, and always very helpful, friendly and communicative. The place had everything we needed for a great vacation... Kitchen incl. everything, bathroom with shower, a large terrace with BBQ and loungers, and a jacuzzi to relax. :) We also explored a lot in the region and were very impressed with a lot. We will be back! :)

The apartment was perfect for our stay – we felt very comfortable. Especially the roof terrace was a real highlight with great views and plenty of space to relax in. The hosts were very friendly, helpful and available at all times. Everything was clean, well equipped and just like in the description. Shopping and restaurants are in walking distance.
