Vacation rentals in Pak Raet

Great place to base from to see Kanchaburi. Better with own transport but cabs are affordable. Loud music from river traffic is real. Best to just enjoy it. This place is visually stunning, but the area it is in, is louder than you expect. It is quiet at night, fortunately. There's a great restaurant 750 meters away.

Our group had a wonderful stay at Witita’s home. We were a group of 10 and there was lots of space for everyone. The grounds and rooms were very well maintained, and onsite there was a very helpful woman who attended to any issues or questions we had. The pool and garden were so relaxing. I definitely recommend to others wanting an escape from the busyness of Bangkok. Would love to stay here again in the future!

I have stayed here for 4 days, as this place seemed to offer everything I needed for some quiet workation. It served its purpose very well! This cozy cabin is functional, done thoughtfully, well-equipped (with all you need for cooking). It is private with a nice garden, it's beautiful to sit there during sunrise and before sunset, listening to the sounds of nature and birds chirping. Staying at Kantavika's place was definitely one of the highlights of my visit in Kanchanaburi! Kantavika is a very responsive host, she was always there to help with any question or issue I had.

This is the second time we've come to PapaHouse229. We even reorganized our stay in Thailand to be able to come back because we had very good memories! Again, we were hosted very well. 😊 Everything was perfect! The service offered is excellent: cold water was waiting for us in the refrigerator and the host, as if for the first time, provided us with something to snack on. This is the accommodation to book if you want to spend a few days at the Amphawa Floating Market: it is a very quiet market during the day and very lively at night. We were able to attend a concert by local popular singers. Very nice atmosphere! Thank you. 🙏🏽 We'll be back! For sure!

Clean home and quiet neighborhood. Near Mahidol University and was a great place for my family to stay while they visited me. Good communication from the host and would recommend this place.

in 12 years of using airbnb, this place is easily my favourite. beautiful, peaceful house surrounded by greenery and rice fields. i felt right at home. the house had everything i needed & more, leelawadee even shared some of her delicious food with me. she is an outstandig host, very friendly and caring. she helped me out with everything and made sure i was comfortable. i loved to talk to her and listen to her music. there are cats and the sweetest dog i haver met. if i could give this experience more stars, i honestly would. if you're looking for a quite place outside the city (but still easy to reach by scooter!) this is the place to be. i can't wait to come back!

Great location to spend a few days in the countryside with the kids. Loads of cyclable trails behind the house, huge garden. Water filter is a plus. Beds were really comfortable.

hotel clean and space so big, easy to check in and the owner so kind 🙂 I'm happy with here and will come back again. would love to recommend.
