Or just hang out on the hammock. You can swim from the pier or directly from the beach. The beach is quite sudden, so it's not suitable for young children. A lot heats up next to the sauna terrace. Pia and Matti went above and beyond to make out family feel welcome. The place is really spacious and worked perfectly for our extended family. The house feels like a home immediately as you step in. The uninterrupted lake view, 2 x saunas and a very nice TV room with a woodburner/fireplace make it a great stay in the winter as well. Simply a Five Star place with very nice hosts.

Overall every good experience staying here. Beautiful and stunning views of the lake and trees x. The sauna is also very good. But watch out if you park your cars at the yard, there are trees and rocks you need to pay attention to.

We had a wonderful weekend at the Birdhouse. The cottage is in a quiet location by the lake, very spacious and the kitchen is well-equipped. I also always appreciate the blackout curtains in the bedroom and the beds were comfortable, we got the whole crew to sleep really well. The sauna had a shower that provided hot water, which also made it easier for the baby to bathe. Check-in was easy and checkout was flexible, Minna-Liisa responded very quickly. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back in the future!
