Family-friendly vacation rentals in Paddington

On top of genuinely getting what's in the description, which is already pretty decent, and a responsive host ready to adjust checkin and checkout times for my convenience, the showering facilities are worth mentioning. a decent shower pressure and hot water temperature is not guaranteed, so it got my attention. Also, amazing towels! I am sure I will be back.

Goran was very friendly and kind, with a lot of information about food places to eat. He was flexible with our check in time when we arrived early, and came over quickly to respond to a minor issue with the water heater. All in all a great host. We loved staying at the apartment.

Our family of three had a great stay at Gabriel’s flat over 2024 holiday week. The flat is perfectly located, spacious, clean and beautiful. Photo depictions are accurate. The flat faces the rear so is very quiet. It overlooks a church yard that provides a scenic view. It is next to the charming Seven Dials/Neals Yard area and very convenient to West End theatres, tube and all sights. Gabriel and his friend Dean, who checked us in, were responsive and flexible. We were happy to find bottles of water, breakfast foods, and snacks that made our stay so much easier. In all, we could not have had a better experience!

Vanessa's place was very nice. It was well-organized, and super convenient for me given mix of business and leisure during my trip. There was enough space to do a bit of work, and it had all the ammenities (iincluding a bit of tea and coffee, shampoo/soap and even laundry detergent). She was also very communicative, and quick to clarify anything. Would recommend.

Rich has such a gorgeous flat!! He clearly takes pride in the decor and artwork and his love for the space really shines through. You feel so at home in the best way. The location also could not be beat! So close to the tube and walkable to Buckingham palace and loads of other sight seeing spots. The lift is so helpful, shower pressure perfect, terrace is so glam, beds so SO comfy. Highly highly recommend!!

We had a fantastic stay at this flat in London! The location was absolutely perfect—central and within easy reach of all the major sights, making it super convenient for exploring the city. The flat itself was lovely: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed. Our host truly went above and beyond. She welcomed us with snacks and sparkling wine, which was such a treat after a long overnight flight. She also accommodated an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Her local recommendations and tips for things to do in London were incredibly helpful and made our visit even more enjoyable. The neighborhood was charming and full of character, with plenty of cozy pubs, well-stocked grocery stores, and friendly wine shops all just a short walk away. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely book again!

5/5 great place for our trip. For our annual boys trip we had picked Marcus’ listing. Even from the time of booking he was extremely helpful and had great communication. Upon our arrival he was waiting for us at check in and gave great local recommendations. Being our first time in the UK he was even helpful with providing answers to random questions we may have had. Very clean home and a great place to relax after sight seeing all day. All in all the best Airbnb location I’ve stayed at over my years of travel and hope I get to again one day. Thank you Marcus!

Highly recommend, Kevin allowed us to stay a little longer due to unexpected flight issues and was an absolute pleasure to speak with, if I am in the area I will stay here again!

The location of this flat could not have been better. Just seconds from the tube station, great pubs and restaurants and only a few minutes to Portobello market on Friday and Saturday. We felt at home in Sophie’s colourful flat and appreciated the extra and unexpected amenities she offered. We had very little reason to communicate with Sophie during our stay but when we did she replied promptly. You do hear the sounds of the city but that is to be expected in this vibrant neighbourhood. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Raphael's apartment was perfect for two longtime friends. We each had our own bedroom. Beds and furniture were comfy. The whole apartment was immaculate. We had a bit of trouble finding the building, but that's to be expected with first-time travelers to London. Look for Queens Skate Dine Bowl and walk just a few doors up the street (away from Hyde Park) to Queens Court Apartments, which is on the same side of the street. The options for eating in the neighborhood, actually, on the same street, were fantastic. We had lunch at The Park, dinner at Mandarin Kitchen and Ceru, and croissants and coffee every morning at Blank Street Coffee. These croissants were as good as what I've had in Paris. Quelle surprise delicieuse! Also, every single Londoner we met was so very polite and helpful. I highly recommend Raphael's place!

We had a perfect stay at Francesca’s place! It’s exactly as described even better than the photos. The apartment is full of natural light, beautifully decorated, calm, and has such a lovely, peaceful feel. It had everything we needed, including a fully equipped kitchen and even a juicer. Francesca was an amazing host. She was so kind, responsive, and checked in to make sure everything was going smoothly. She made us feel really welcome and taken care of. There were two of us staying and we were both super comfortable. The apartment is on the fourth floor with no lift, so just something to keep in mind. The location is fantastic close to shops and just a few minutes from Hyde Park, which was perfect for walks with our dogs and enjoying the neighbourhood. Would absolutely stay again and highly recommend it!

Really enjoyed my stay here. Was my first time traveling solo and this was the perfect spot for my first time. Flat was a pleasant 10 minute walk from the closet tube station. The flat was clean and had beautiful plants to look at. Sharon was attentive and gave fast responses when needed. Highly recommend staying here!

Lovely place and we enjoyed our stay. Easy to access other areas and walkable to Hyde Park. It is quite a noisy location but other than that would highly recommend.

We needed a space to relax and this was perfect. We wanted to be to a tube station in a residential neighborhood so we could get away from the hustle and bustle. Lovely space and excellent host.

My husband and I loved our stay. Hampstead Heath is a stones throw from this property whilst the high street was just a 12 minute walk the other way. There are wonderful shops, restaurants and great access to the underground. It felt like we weren’t really part of London any longer even though the tube connects back quickly. We ate at Oliviya twice, a wonderful Lebanese restaurant with excellent food and friendly staff. Another meal at Mimmo La Bufala was also excellent. Get the chili oil with bread! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Bohemian Rhapsody and highly recommend!

Anthony is a great host, very responsive and he genuinely cared about our stay, he wanted our experience to be positive and it showed. The flat was clean, well stocked and in a perfect location in London City. We do not always find an AirBNB wherein, we know, we would definitely book again but we found this in Anthony’s flat.

Great apartment, easy to find, not far from both subway stations.The apartment is comfortable and tidy, I like the dining room and open kitchen.Both rooms are also very clean and comfortable. Washing machine, dryer, water heater, hair dryer are all available.

Fantastic stay at Berry's place! Very homely apartment, lots of space for a family with 2 adults, 3 and 6 year old. Very close to Maida Vale station, and a short walk to Paddington Recreation Ground which had the best playground! We ordered groceries via Uber our first day as there's no major supermarkets in walking distance. Would stay here again!

A perfect place from which to explore London. Just a short way from the local underground station, but remarkably peaceful. We enjoyed having a drink on the deck watching the parakeets. My hubby loved that it was about 15 minutes from The Oval, and we popped into Covent Garden for dinner one night. The flat was clean, cozy and exactly as described. Jodie was an excellent host. There are a lot of steps inside and outside the property, but if that's not a problem, this is a great place to stay.
