Great hiking opportunities in the surrounding area, boat rental, as well as a nice little sandy beach below Panorama hotel and resort nearby.

Newly renovated home from March 2026. The accommodation is located west facing and has sun all day, there is a sea view where you can see the boat traffic to Bergen. Welcome to Sundestova, our magical cabin at Hellesøy! Here you can really enjoy the peace and relaxation in scenic surroundings. Great hiking opportunities. Gløvro is especially recommended, where you can explore beautiful landscapes and enjoy fresh air. There are also good fishing opportunities both near the cabin and in the area in general. The cabin has a lovely patio with a fire pit, egg chair and seating area. Relax under the open sky and enjoy pleasant moments around the fire. We have extra chairs available in the storage room.

We rent out our holiday home with a very seaside, rural and unspoiled location just before Hellesøy in Øygarden, about an hour's drive from Bergen. Great hiking opportunities in the area, fishing possibilities close to the house and opportunity for boat rental nearby. If you arrive in a boat or rent one, this can be moored on the dock below the house. Here you can relax and enjoy quiet evenings on the terrace while the sun goes down🌞A patio with fire pan and sitting area, and terrace with sitting area and jacuzzi.

Seafront retreat - pier, boatrental & fishing camp

You will have full access to the whole downstairs apartment of 125m2 in total. 3 bedrooms and a large living room stands at your disposal. Outside you have your own private backyard with lots of outdoor games. From the pier you can fish, rent boat or swim. There is a 98l freezer box where you can store the fish you catch or any other food. Through our boat rental company, we are a lisenced fish camp. This means you can export up to 18kg of fish per fisherman with you out of Norway.

The cabin is located in the middle of the nature just 50 meters from the sea. It is a 20 minute hike to get to the cabin, and it is completely undisturbed. Here you can enjoy nature, the sea, the horizon and the silence. The view is exceptional almost everywhere you look. Cozy up inside the cabin, or take your fishing rod and see if you get lucky throwing from the rocks. Enjoy the sunshine or admire the wild stormy ocean. This is a perfect place to relax away from everyday life.
