Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Oxfordshire

We had a beautiful stay at Vanessa’s place. It was clean, tidy, and just what we needed for a little break in the Cotswolds. Would highly recommend.

The most beautiful cottage, clean, welcoming with all the amenities. Petrol was responsive to our messages and even got fans in for us as it was going to be the hottest night of the year. It was easy to check in and really comfortable. Would definitely return snd recommend to anyone.

Absolutely wonderful stay! Patricia and Alastair were the loveliest and most thoughtful hosts—so communicative, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. There were so many personal touches around the house that made our stay extra memorable. The house itself is gorgeous—beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds and plenty of inviting spaces to relax in. We were in town for a wedding locally at Hadsham Farms, and following advice from Patricia, arranging transport with the local taxi firm was a breeze. Very good spot to stay if you are at a wedding over that way. I've stayed in many Airbnbs around the world, but this place is my absolute favourite—thanks to Patricia and Alastair, who are truly exceptional hosts. I’m already planning to coming back for a weekend getaway later this summer/early autumn! Thank you both so much for such a wonderful experience—we truly appreciated every moment.

We stayed at Acre Lodge over the late May bank holiday and it was brilliant. The lodge is clean, well laid out and with all the amenities and equipment you need for a restful stay. The fixtures and fittings are all great quality and the hot tub is good fun. The Mason Arms is a five minute walk away and a fantastic pub for food, service and atmosphere. Janet was a great host, and we had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly recommend The Little Forge for a stay in the Cotswolds - it was so pretty, peaceful and the hot tub was a bonus! We stayed here for our mini moon after our wedding for a bit of rest and relaxation and got just that! Kelly gave us super clear instructions of where to park and how to get in - all really easy. The cottage itself is really pretty, has all the home comforts you could possibly need as well as being in walking distance to a great pub with delicious food and really good service. It was peaceful and relaxing - Kelly had thought of all amenities you might need during your stay - it felt like a home away from home. The cottage is a great base to explore lots of the Cotswolds - we enjoyed Stow-on-the-Wold, walk no. 4 in the "40 walks in the Cotswolds" book, Cowley Manor Experimental for an afternoon spa trip and The Feathered Nest. We loved our stay - would love to come again some time! Thank you!

Nicola is a very caring host and made us feel right at home. She even took us to the local grocery store to do shopping as we arrived by bus. The setting is stunning and Nicola’s hospitality made us feel right at home.

We had a lovely time at Sarah's place. It's as the photos suggest and is in a very peaceful surrounding. The barn is next to Sarah's family home, but the way it is oriented means you get plenty of privacy. Thank you for letting us in to your home. We all had a lovely quality time with friends.

Just arrived back home from a two night stay at Keepers Cottage with our 4 month old baby and Cocker Spaniel. The cottage is beautiful and so cosy! A really lovely place to stay in the perfect location in the Cotswolds. The garden was totally secured which was perfect for the dog, he had a great time too! Amelia was a great host and was on hand for anything we needed and very responsive. We were able to arrive earlier than expected and were able to leave a bit later too which was so helpful with the baby. We will definitely be returning!

The apartment is very nice and there’s a lot of space for everyone. The beds are comfortable. We highly recommend this apartment. We kindly ask the proprietary to put a shampoo the next time.

Great flat right in the centre of Wallingford and a short walk to town and all the bars, restaurants and amenities. Very quiet location and filled with natural light. Comfortable and well supplied kitchen. The garden was an added bonus to enjoy the sun. Chris was great to deal with and communicated along the way, right up to when we arrived and days following to see if we needed anything.

Karyn and Iain really provided a home away from home, with everything we needed for our stay. Their check in was friendly and welcoming, the village is gorgeous and we really couldn't have asked for any more

We really enjoyed our stay in Wanborough with Clare and Nigel and the menagerie! Pixel and Bobby made sure that we settled in and kept us entertained, and Clare and Nigel were friendly and very helpful. The annex was really lovely, very clean and with lovely furnishings, etc. A short walk took us to a lovely pub (The Plough Inn) where the food was great and the staff really friendly. We had a lovely stay at the Barn Annexe. It’s in a brilliant location for the town. Spotlessly clean, well equipped and very friendly and helpful hosts. Would definitely recommend.
