In this place your family can stay close to everything, the location is central. Quiet residential area, but there can be some noise from the railway, private patio. Standard is completely average, small bathroom but contains both shower, toilet and sink. Bathroom has entrance from one bedroom. If there are more than three people, one or two have to sleep in the living room in the extra beds. The outdoor area is small but there is room for four around a table. In the garden there is a large trampoline available. Bed linen and towels are provided.

A little gem with a superb view. Great starting point for hiking, skiing, hunting and fishing. An hour driving from Oslo and only a swip from Drammen. Here you have nature at your doorstep, on all sides. If it gets too much of a good thing, it's under 20 minutes down to the Kebab in Hokksund. 100% renewable electricity from your own solar power plant. The whole cabin is newly renovated in 2018. It can be a little difficult to find the cabin in the dark. There is no heat, so it must be fired! 10 min times in the winter.

This cabin requires that you travel with a car and that you bring your own sleeping bags, drinking water, food and toilet paper. It is also almost a must to bring rubber boots if you don’t want to get your feets soaking wet ☺️ From the car park it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the cabin. We stayed at Petter’s place for a family trip with 4 adults and a baby. It was a lovely and peaceful spot with some woodland walks nearby. It’s also only 15 minute drive to the coastal town of Holmestrand. They have a pig and two dogs and the farm adjacent has several horses. There is a lodger living downstairs who kept to herself. The house was clean and tidy and nicely decorated, as per the photos. We didn’t meet Petter but he had good communication and was flexible in allowing us to check out slightly later. Many thanks!

We loved our stay! It was a great location to experience the tranquil countryside (especially in the snow! 🤩) Our children loved sledging etc and it felt like a home from home as well as being a 45min drive from Oslo. Lots of other places to explore from here too. The house is cosy and had everything we needed. The washing machine was very handy too! Thank you again for being such friendly hosts

Totally one of the best Airbnb experiences I have experienced. We felt welcomed like family. Kim was a gracious host and went out of his way to keep up comfortable and informed. Check-in was smooth and staying there felt immediately like home. The sights there in the summer was breathtaking to say the least. The house is lovingly decorated and we discovered many beautiful details. In the kitchen there is everything you need for cooking. A personal contact with Kristin did not take place (it was also not necessary, as everything went smoothly), but she responded quickly to inquiries. We highly recommend a stay.

Very nice home and perfect for a toddler family. Not far from the larger towns, but a rural and quiet area with pleasant neighbors. We had a very nice vacation and stayed comfortably with one of almost two and one of almost three years and three adults. Liv also always responded quickly and was very flexible and friendly.

We felt totally at home in the house. It is beautiful. The location by the lake is fantastic. It is very quiet. For the children, the trampoline, the kayaks and the SUP board were great. Everything we needed was available in the house. A highlight was the barbecue with a pizza stone and the private beach. The surrounding area is unique with great hiking opportunities. Ida was a perfect hostess. Always available and very friendly. We would be happy to come back again.

Super nice little apartment, convenient for us who were on the way home to Western Norway from vacation in Denmark and Sweden. Very easy to find, good bed, the sofa bed was also good according to the 11 year old 👍 Well possible we will come back if we are going to drive that way 😊😊
