Vacation rentals with lake access in Overton County

The views stunning, enjoyed the sunsets. Weather was perfect to enjoy the patio and a little bird watching( abundance of woodpeckers and spotted a couple of eagles). The house had everything we needed. The kitchen well equipped as we cooked nightly. We also enjoyed the town of Smithville which has nice boutiques, antiques and coffe shop. Nice tranquil property.

Stayed here for almost 6 weeks with my wife and dog during a clinical rotation as a PA student, and it was wonderful! The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet, and secluded, and the lake is very tranquil. Great neighborhood for running if you are into that as well. Amy was very responsive and friendly, and worked to resolve a couple minor issues (no hot water, doorknob broken) as fast as she possibly could! Overall great place to stay.

If you are looking for beautiful views in a peaceful area, this cabin is your spot! We absolutely loved our stay and would recommend this house to everyone. We felt very much at home as it had everything we needed during our stay. The swim spa was an added bonus but the hot tub was our favorite overlooking the lake. Jessica was a responsive and wonderful host! Can’t wait to go back when it’s warmer so we can float in the lake.

The house was exactly like the description and photos. The house is exceptionally clean, welcoming and spacious packed with all the things a family could need while on vacation. We loved taking a walk every day on the trail, going across to the park to play and being able to walk across the yard to the lake whenever we wanted. The accessibility was amazing for us especially having a child with special needs and needing to be right next to the house in case of emergency. We had a blast fishing, kayaking and swimming. When we weren’t enjoying the lake, we enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub or playing many games of air hockey and corn hole. Jason has thought of every detail that a family could need while on vacation even providing extra toiletries in case we forget them. We will be coming back regularly and are already planning on our next trip!

The space was warm and welcoming. The kitchen had a plethora of spices, pots, and pans. The bathrooms were spotless and the view from the living room and upstairs bedroom was immaculate. From check in to check out it was easy as pie. Jerry & Wendy responded to every message within 30 minutes and was very proactive in the check-in process. Already looking to rebook with them next year for our getaway.

Shaun and Sarah’s place is an excellent place to stay and they were excellent hosts.

We had a women's retreat here and it was absolutely perfect. There were 5 of us and we had plenty of room to spread out. The home had everything we needed and more! The lake view is fantastic. Cynthia is a wonderful host. She is always responsive to messages and willing to help with local recommendations. She helped me find a local caterer which could not have been more perfect. Overall 10/10 recommend!

You have to come. The bathtub is bigger than you think it is. Our honeymoon started extremely good in the apartment!!

Had relaxing get away from Nashville! my son learned to fish and we enjoyed the town and beauty of the quiet town and lake. Would stay again!

We had a great stay at the Lakehouse! The home was clean, organized and obtained all the essentials. Would love to visit again soon!

This cottage is the perfect “getaway” cottage! So cozy and peaceful, especially the front porch in the morning with coffee and the evenings with a cocktail . Very convenient to Smithville but even more so to the marina. My favorite thing (among others) was the well equipped kitchen! Perfect for those who like to cook! Loved all the parking for cars and our boat. Finally, it was truly a pleasure working out details etc with Nicole. She’s the best and left no stone unturned to insure our stay was fabulous. We highly recommend this cottage and Nicole and look forward to renting again one day!

The house was just perfect for my husband and I to get away from it all. Follow her instructions on getting to the house as google maps and our car GPS were not accurate. Communication was great and she even offered us access to the basement during a storm warning. The bed is super comfortable. The setting is great and was super quiet. We enjoyed hiking the state parks in the area and had a great meal at a local pizza place in Sparta on our way back from hiking.

Loved every minute of our getaway to Sparta. The place had a wonderful “at home” feel. Would love to book here again next time we come back to Sparta. Advija was a wonderful host!
