We are nestled in the foothills of the Victorian Alps,close to Bright. There is a crystal clear stream suitable for trout fishing nearby. Our little farm consists of cattle, chickens, two dogs, chestnuts and blueberries and bountiful Australia wildlife. The cottage(bedsit) is self contained and private, with one double and two single beds plus a very large shady garden with a BBQ and Gazebo. Pets are welcome. We very much welcome international travelers to this beautiful area.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spotlessly clean, beautifully renovated, and presented very well throughout. It was fully equipped with everything we needed, which made it feel just like home. The space was cosy and comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day out. The location was great—close to everything we wanted to explore. Plus, the host was easy to deal with, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

The beautiful rustic interiors, spacious open-plan living, incredible fireplace and cozy lounge areas with 360-degree views of Mount Buffalo made for the perfect setting. We had an unforgettable hiking weekend with friends, spending our days outdoors and looking forward to returning to Sunset Ridge for home cooked meal, grazing boards, long chats, and wine by the fire. We were blown away by the view and setting of this property. Not only is the house a beautiful piece of architecture, it is stylishly decked out, generous in size, super comfy and an easy walk into town. It has a great kitchen, comfortable beds, under floor heating, loads of light and an open fire - happy days!!!! The garden is massive and beautifully landscaped with amazing outdoor entertaining spaces. Evening drinks by the fire pit, watching the most incredible sunsets, was an absolute highlight for us. We didn’t want to leave.

Karen's place is truly amazing. The apartment is modern , comfortable, clean and very private. It was kept warm inside day and night (ceiling duct heating) in entire apartment. That was fantastic considering winter temperatures. We found everything what we needed during our stay. The fire pit outside gave us a special atmosphere at night , and the open view up to horizon night allowed us to admire sunrise and sunset. It was amazing.we also loved company of 2 golden retrievers and calfs behind the fence. All of these made our stay very relaxing and special. Please accept our big thank you, Karen.

Our stay at Red Earth lodge was just amazing. Eibhlin was a wonderfully responsive host from whom you get the sense that she genuinely hopes your stay is as pleasurable as possible. The sparkling upon arrival helped us celebrate an important family occasion and the lodge was impeccable and flawless. We had such a peaceful time by the fire, inside and outside, in stunning location. Thank you Eibhlin!
