Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Ouray County

Thank you for such an amazing time...the house was amazing, only topped by the unbelievable skiing that we're able to get in at Telluride. The house is very close, and is a wonderful drive with views of the San Juan Mountains the entire time. I can't wait to come back and can't suggest this place enough! Sibylle gave clear, easy instructions to get in and the house was perfect...can't thank you enough!

We had a great stay. It was very cozy and a great location - chair 7 is a 5 minute walk. Very walkable to town as well. Great bedrooms and very clean. Hot tub was great. The dishwasher broke while we were staying but Avantstay had someone fix it within a day. The grocery store also couldn’t be more convenient, just to the back of the building. Very minor but there was a lack of hooks to hang jackets/towels, so that is one suggestion for them to add. WiFi and internet worked great for video calls. Would definitely stay again!

This place was great! Ridgeway is very charming, and this is in walking distance to restaurants. We had an easy drive to Telluride. Very much appreciated dog friendly accommodations, and the space is very cute and clean.

Myself and 3 friends stayed here for a long weekend in the Fall. We absolutely loved the home -- we thought it was better than the photos! The house was well equipped with anything we needed for cooking, sleeping and showering. We loved the fireplace in the evenings, and the cute backyard patio was great during the day. The location was wonderful as well - right next to Clark's market, and the street ends on the river trail which we walked multiple times a day into town and to the Gondola. It's about a half mile walk into the center of town, which was certainly do-able for us. I have stayed closer into town in the past, and we truly didn't mind the walk, but if it was colder or we had more rain, we may have chosen to drive to town instead.. luckily this trip we did not! Also, we very much appreciated Wanda meeting us at the house right on arrival and walking us through the space. The communication throughout the stay was great as well, and we felt right at home!

Dan and Angela’s place was perfect for us and our dog. It had everything we needed. The space heaters were a nice touch too as it did get chilly at night. The deer are not shy and came right in the yard with us there. The beds were soft and they had extra towels for the hot springs.

Great stay in Ouray! Very walkable location and lots to do. Loved the house and felt comfortable. Only downside was a bit of traffic and neighbor noise but to be fair, we live in a very quiet place with no neighbors so I think we're extra sensitive. Had a great time in Ouray!

Jeremy was a great host. He was able to respond quickly and book last minute and he communicated well. The are is amazing, peaceful, and beautiful. It was nice to have some solitude while being near the town.

Keith was a great host. He gave clear instructions and was responsive when we had questions. His place was comfortable and in a great location. We would definitely stay again.

This place is a little slice of heaven in Telluride! The space is comfortable, accommodating and has everything you need. Brian was very thoughtful in making sure I had everything I needed and providing local recommendations!

This is our go-to place when we want to come to the southwest part of the state. We absolutely love this space! It is clean, modern, comfortable and in the perfect location to walk to the park, the grocery, local restaurants, or to cute shops. It is also driving distance from ouray and telluride, which is ideal for our winter sports. We will definitely continue to stay here on our future trips! Thanks for having us!

We stayed in Ouray 3 nights4/9-4/12 2025. Although not much was open town. it made our stay extremely peaceful. The location on Main St was very convenient, with beautiful views of 360 degree mountains, and mule deer feeding at our front door daily. We were less than a mile from the north edge the "Million Dollar Highway". Thanks again Jennifer for your hospitality and recommendations.

Excellent location, literally at the base of the mountain. Place had everything I needed, very comfortable. Laurel did a great job communicating. For some reason Apple Maps wouldn’t take me to the Carhenge lot - not Laurels issue but just note this.

The unit was super clean, convenient and perfect for two people. Vivian was great to communicate with on any issues.

We had an amazing time staying in Stacy's place in Telluride. The location is perfect. Will be back

Amazing location, great hosts, very comfortable mattresses (on bed AND pullout), comfy sheets and towels, and really good kitchen gear. Views, views, views! Walk to gondola & chairlift! View of Town park stage! Walk to restaurants and shops. Highly, highly recommend!

Loved our stay, had everything we needed and more, and the surroundings were spectacular.

Great location and easy to find. Easy parking and walkable to downtown. Comfortable bed and clean space. Would stay again at Andrew's place when I come to visit.

The condo in Telluride was great. Right at base of lift 7, close walk to great shops/restaurants in Telluride. Jason was super responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Would highly recommend.

Ben’s property was perfect for my reunion girls trip, it had everything that we needed, the beds were extremely comfortable, it was clean, safe, and Ben was one of the most responsive and helpful host I have had! The only difficult part of the stay was the location as it was amazing however, without Ubers, it can be tricky to access town late at night since the condo was not technically “in town”. Besides this, it was accessible, had a great view, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This is a great condo for families/friends that are close and like to spend time together. The open floor plan made it easy to communicate on various floors of the unit. The nice group space was accommodating for group dinners and games. Walking distance to all the restaurants and ski lifts.
