I used it for 2 nights and 3 days! It was a spacious and beautiful inn with Japanese and Western rooms, and it was fully equipped with amenities and facilities, and we had a wonderful time! We had a brief but very relaxing and peaceful stay here. Jun and Kimi are lovely people and the whole place has their kind and warm energy within it. Jun has some fascinating historical facts to share on the area if you are interested, and Kimi makes stunning crystal jewellery. Highlights were their delicious food, the gentle ambient music playing, the beautiful view to the lake from the dining room, the private bath with pure spring water from nearby and the comfy pillows. Only downside was that the mattresses were a little on the thin side for us but I would stay again in a heartbeat. Thank you both for a very memorable stay.

Sachio-san is the loveliest host I've ever met. His home is more beautiful than the pictures could show - the bedroom and its attached reading nook is bright and lovingly furnished, the duvet is ultra soft and comfy, and the toilet and bathroom are squeaky clean. Sachio-san, I will miss your breakfast and coffee with classical music, the warm baths, and the view from your car! Thank you for celebrating my 30th birthday with me. I will treasure this memory for life ❤️
A traditional Japanese room featuring tatami mats, wooden beams, and shoji screens. A low wooden table is centered in the space, complemented by a decorative vase. Sliding doors provide access to other areas, while natural light filters through the windows.

This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed. If you come before May, and you are someone who tends to get chilly.. be sure that you bring something cozy and warm to sleep in. After all, this is a classic, gorgeous, paper, and glass house. Even though it can be a little bit breezy like when we stayed in early April, the comforters and mats kept us very warm. Comfy warm house slippers were provided. It is stocked with all of the cooking and eating utensils and dishes you might need. The dining area and prep area is wonderful, so spacious and inviting. Be sure to stop at the local grocery store before you go, as the nearest one is about 15 minutes drive. Our host Yoko San was even kind enough to suggest that we did this first as she knew that we were not driving there but taking public transportation and she wanted to be sure that we had everything we needed. She even recommended a local grocery store. This is a rare opportunity to experience history.
