You can barbecue and enjoy the west-facing sun for a long time in the evening and should it get cold, you can always take a sauna. Keep in mind that in summer, there can be mosquitoes, especially around sunset. It is a few kilometers to Österfärnebo where you have a store. If you want to eat something other than Pizza, there is good food in Gysinge. Feel free to rent the boat and buy a fishing license! In summer, the water can be low at the jetty

Canoe, kayak and rowboat are available. The jetty is shared with the host who lives in the house next door. In winter, a plowed skating rink is outside the door. No pets.

You can easily get here on Uppsala County's regional bus 225 between Heby and Enköping, with a stop 200 meters from the accommodation.

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects.
