The house has a 20 sqm base, but is efficiently utilized with loft, large ceiling height and good window surfaces. The terrace is south facing and sunny.

CAR: Only 12 min to Nydalen with shops, restaurants and public transport to Oslo city centre. PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Bus stop 5 min. to walk from the cabin. It takes 18 minutes by bus to Brekke and 25 minutes to Nydalen.

One of the really great easily accessible island gems in the Oslo fjord from the mainland. You get here easily with a car/bus to the cable ferry. The island is also a favorite spot for locals who use the island for hiking, camping, boating, fishing and training trips. This is a small red-painted cottage in a cozy garden with various fruit trees, amounts of jasmine shrubs, lilacs and summer flowers. The place is great for a small family with one or two children, or for a couple or single who want a quiet holiday by the sea, but with a short distance to Oslo. It is only about 150 meters to the sea in Ursvikbukta. You can swim from the pier in Ursvikbukta or from child-friendly beach in about 10 - 15 minutes walking distance at both Hellviktangen and Hellvikstrand.
