Otroligt fint boende som måste upplevas på plats. Det finns allt för både små och stora att aktivera sig med och det märks att allt är genomtänkt och gjort för att samlas. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und verbrachten eine Woche in dem wunderschönen Haus, umgeben von Natur, Wasser und lieben Menschen! Wir hatten für die An- und Abreise zwar kein Auto (was es sicher praktischer und einfacher gemacht hätte), aber der längere Fußweg von der Bushaltestelle/ Fähre waren es definitiv wert! Die Lage war ein Traum – ein ruhiger Ort und viel Natur! Zum Einkaufen und für sonstige Ausflüge hatten wir Fahrräder von der Unterkunft zur Verfügung! Hakan und Natalja waren wirklich tolle Gastgeber! Immer freundlich und hilfsbereit – es war uns eine Freude euch kennengelernt zu haben! Danke!

We are thrilled to have found this gem for our winter getaway with friends in Vaxholm! The location is perfect—conveniently close to the bus, ferry, and with its own parking space, yet wonderfully peaceful. The house exceeded our expectations with its spaciousness and charm. It had plenty of room for everyone and came fully equipped with all the amenities we needed. It truly felt like a home with a soul, making our stay special. Mary-Rose, the host, was incredibly kind and attentive, answering all our questions promptly and ensuring we felt well-prepared for our stay. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and convenient retreat in Vaxholm!

3 days in a beautiful and very well equipped house. It was clean and comfortable. Our tall teenage grandchildren would have been more comfortable in the single beds if they had been available. But they managed and we had a really good time.although we didn’t use it, the public transport system was close enough to be an asset. Long walks to Stocksund through the forest and past the lakes were a bonus. The information and help I received from the owners including a video walk around the establishment was invaluable when we arrived and included an introduction to the feathered pets . I would highly recommend it. We had a great time. Thank you.

We had a lovely two week stay at Johan’s charming house. We loved waking up to the views of the lake and trees, and starting our days with the most beautiful walks around the lake. It is a wonderful place to retreat, peaceful and surrounded by nature, but only a 25 minute drive to Stockholm. Johan was very helpful and responsive. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

This place is truly special! It’s peaceful, quiet, and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The beautiful surroundings create the perfect atmosphere to relax and reconnect with yourself. The host Maria was incredibly friendly and helpful. I had an amazing stay and give definitely 5/5 stars!

Mycket trevligt hus i mysiga Roslagen. Fem stjärnor av fem.

Ralf organized our stay with only few ours of notice. We rented another cabin which did not match the description and had to leave immediately. Ralf welcomed us kindly despite his own hurries. The cabin was clean, had necessary equipment for cooking etc. and we enjoyed oyr stay. There was some ongoing renovations, but that didn't bother us. We even had a few visits from local roe deer with her three calfs.. We are very likely renting again from Ralf when we come to Hallstavik area next time.

Vi hade en trevlig helgvistelse i detta mysiga hus på landet som tyvärr fick avbrytas i förtid på grund av sjukdom. Toppentrevlig och mycket hjälpsamma värdar och dito grannar (stort tack igen!), bäddade sängar och en öppen spis som brann när vi kom, samt härliga omgivningar. Vi promenerade till båthamnen och badviken i strålande sol, det tog cirka en kvart och det var lätt att hitta. Vi kommer mer än gärna tillbaka!
