Cozy cottage in the countryside for relaxation

Warm welcome to our cozy cottage right next to the lake! Here you can enjoy the simplicity, swim from the mountain and rest in the silence. You have free parking, access to a rowboat (motor can be rented) and the possibility to buy a fishing license. The cottage has running water, stove, oven and electricity. There is an outdoor toilet and an outdoor shower with hot water. The cottage is located at the end of a gravel road and on the same property is also our house.

Our cozy log cabin is located on the beach with beautiful views of Färjsundet. The cottage is fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom, fireplace and air heat pump. There is one double bedroom, one loft with two single mattresses and one sofa bed. The dock is down by the beach, which is suitable for swimming and has a boat dock. Fishing permit can be bought in Godby. The cottage is only 2 km from Godby center, about 16 km from Mariehamn and 9 km from the golf course.

From the living room/kitchen and balcony, you have a nice view of Kalmarviken, it is 75 meters to the swimming jetty and the wood-fired sauna is in the yard behind the greenhouse. The accommodation is suitable for 4-6 people as there is a 160 cm and a 140 cm bed in the bedrooms and two 80 cm beds in the living room. Cycling distance to Mariehamn city center, 5 km

Stay in the middle of Åland at Färjsundet near Åland Golf Club and Kastelholm Castle. The house has a newly-renovated shower/bath and sauna, toilet and kitchen. In addition, there is a newly-built terrace with dining table and barbecue. The house is located by the water and you share a bathing jetty with the hosts. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to Mariehamn and about 5 minutes to Godby where there is a grocery store.

Mattas in Finby

At our farmhouse Mattas in Finby, Sund, we can offer a rural and cozy accommodation with 4 beds (two single beds and a sofa bed). It is an apartment on the second floor from the 50s that we have carefully renovated to keep the old-fashioned feel. On the farm there are many different animals (cows, horses, chickens and sheep) and our farm dairy (Mattas Gårdsmejeri). During July, we open a café during the day (11am-5pm).
