There is walking distance to bus, shuttle boat and ferry Sæbø-Leknes/Urke. Sæbø is a good starting point from easy to spectacular mountain hikes. During the season, you can fish salmon in the Bondalselva River (buy a fishing permit at the shop).

Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.

Over the past 20 years, the farm has been renovated and arranged as a holiday home. Very child-friendly place with many activity possibilities. Normally there are animals grazing nearby in the summer months (horses/sheep/lambs). The farm is shielded from view.
