Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Orléans

This is a truly lovely place to stay. We don't like staying in dull hotels when we want to break our journey and look for unusual and special places along our route. The problem with that is we don't want to leave. This place is one of those special places. The room was very comfortable, spotless and very thoughtfully renovated. The host, Thierry, was very friendly and so accommodating - we were held up by a late ferry and then traffic in Paris, but they very kindly waited for us. And the breakfast - fit for a king! The homemade jams were utterly delicious and with best bread I'd had on my trip so far. We would definitely like to return - the situation is lovely, in the forest, and it would make a great holiday in itself. Sorry our trip was so short this time!

Accommodation as described, very clean, quiet. Private hot tub at the top as well as breakfast with homemade jams. Good communication with Dominique before the stay and great welcome.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful property. The hostess was very welcoming, she made us feel right at home. The breakfast spread was amazing as well! Highly recommend!

We stayed with our family of 4 and had a great time. Nathalie is a friendly and attentive hostess and speaks great English. We ate ate ate ate at restaurant 122, which is a short 5-minute walk. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean and the linens are soft. Rooms with darkened shutters. The bathroom is very spacious with a drying rack for your swimwear. This is accessed from a shared hallway/landing. Our children also enjoyed the lovely pool, petting the cat and the (sweet) breakfast.

Recommended! perfect on the Loire by bike, Sully castle to visit!

Catherine loves hosting and it shows. Its kitchen is as excellent as the space is comfortable. I highly recommend it!

Great place for our overnight stay while travelling across France. Florence is very welcoming and the place is really nice and quiet despite the road proximity, and the continental breakfast with fresh croissants and bread was delicious. A restaurant (routier) is available across the street at very good value and quality. We did not know but Florence can offer table d hôte if booking in advance (good to know for next time).

Marie-Claude was very easy to communicate with. She was always prompt with an answer and clear. The welcome was very warm and she gave a short explanation at the cottage. We had bikes with us that had them put under a canopy so they didn't get wet at night. Very thoughtful. The room itself was small but contained everything needed. The only weird thing is that the shower in the room is a bit uncomfortable for a traveling few friends (there are stickers so you can't look in the shower). There is also a beautiful garden and the surroundings are very calm. Chevergny is also not very far, so you can easily go there for a restaurant.

On the way home from our vacation, we had a very relaxing night at Marie - Claude and Luc's place. We were received in a very friendly manner and received a great tip for a restaurant visit from them. We felt very comfortable on the property. The breakfast was particularly varied and very tasty with everything your heart desires. Highly recommended!

Franck and Christine were excellent hosts. They provided a great local dinner recommendation and a delicious and hearty breakfast. They were friendly, great to chat with over breakfast, and responsive to our calls. When we left something at the Airbnb, they called us right away before we got too far. The space is perfect to host 3 people: two single beds in one room, a double bed in the next room, and a little sitting room with chairs for 2 people. Lots of local recommendations and charm. Super close to Chateau de Chambord, only 12 minute drive for us. We would absolutely like to see them and stay in their beautiful home again!
