House vacation rentals in Orlat

We stayed in Freya House for 2 weeks when we were on holiday in Romania with our two older kids. It is a very nice, well maintained house with a very nice outdoor area. There are 3 spacious bedrooms, each with an en suite bathroom. Location is between the amazing Fagaras mountain and a small town. 10 min drive to a Lidl and a daily market where you can shop for local produce. The kitchen is well equipped to cook. Sibiu at 40 min drive has a wide variety of supermarkets with a bigger range. Our host had set up a pool in the garden. That was a nice extra since we hadn't seen it in the description. Situated where it is, Freya House has everything. The nature at your doorstep and plenty of  cultural options to explore at only a daytrip away (2 hrs drive). To have a car available is a necessity. We can very much recommend our wonderful hosts. Available, easygoing and friendly with instructions, advice, hiking routes, information on shops, markets, even home grown food!

We had a great time at this location. We had a lot of peace, privacy, a well-equipped kitchen, a beautiful and well-groomed yard where, both our little boy and the dog, could play and run at will. We were welcomed with hospitality and kindness..and we even found a sweet surprise, on the table, in the kitchen. Thanks again to our host, Silviu, and we wish him much success!

I recommend the location ! Everything is gorgeous , extremely clean , gorgeous and heated pool, manicured yard, very nice rooms. It's perfect for a group of 6 people

A very nice place, a cozy house for three couples. We had a nice stay, the owner was nice to wait for us for a late checkin, the house was nice and in a very quiet location, next to the forest. It’s 10 minutes away from Dumbrava Sibiu and 20 minutes away from the centre of Sibiu. We would come back for sure.

We were a group of 8 that needed acomodation to go skiing during the day to Paltinis. The house is a great place to stay, it has everything you need, very well equipped. Dumitru is an amazing host, we felt very welcomed and he cared for all of our needs. The included breakfast is very tasty and consistent, it also included sweets(we received pancakes in one day). I really recomand Dumitru's acomodation, one of the best hosts I ever met.

For us, the reason for moving Bucharest - Șugag was to organize a wedding party. I was a gang of 16 young people with multiple passions, desire to connect, and a craving for fun. The generous space inside and outside, as well as the facilities at the location (pool, tennis court, terrace, sauna, barbecue area, TV, etc.) offered us the opportunity to practice team games, badminton and volleyball competitions, board games, but also “reading clubs” on the lawn. If you forget to purchase necessary barbecues with friends, or for pool splashing of those without developed swimming skills, there is no problem, the hosts provide firewood (we were also offered charcoal), coals, etc. In addition, the sanitary facilities actually exist at the location, so it is not necessary to move from one corner to another to access these. In conclusion, the location is very well equipped, for a quite party being just a good vibe in the hair

A wonderful experience for us. The location is gorgeous! The cottage is large, authentic, equipped with absolutely everything you need both inside and throughout the outdoor space in a way that we get to feel at home. As for the host, we had the honor of meeting some generous and welcoming people who did their best to have the best time during our stay. I highly recommend and we look forward to returning🫶🏼

Very nice place! Even on the hottest days of 33-34 degrees there was no need for air conditioning (the unit has no air conditioning). Being in an old-type house is always good as a temperature. Everything is very new and beautiful and tasteful. For a family with 3 children (10.6 and 1 year) and 2 adults was perfect. Very good location, under 5 minutes walk to the pool.

Very nice place, we were very well received, very hot accommodation on arrival, fireplace lit, very friendly and quiet set back from the road. Very responsive to any requests. 6 min drive to the ski slopes transalpina 🤗 we will come back without hesitation 🤗

Spacious, modern, functional house close to Sibiu. The hosts were exceptionally helpful and friendly. Great job!

First of all, a few words about the place. as it can be seen in the photos, it has a vintage vibe to it but don't think that anything there is old and with poor quality. everything we found in the house was in perfect condition and there was absolutely nothing that was missing for a family of three, kid included, that also wanted some of the meals cooked at home. kitchen and bath were fully equipped. beds were comfy etc. for us, the retro vibe made us feel like we where at our grandparents house and this adds to why this place felt so special. last but not least, the host was very warm and helpful for any questions that we had. we definitely recomend Ms. Elena and will sure try to book this place whenever we are in Sibiu.

Excellent! A small cottage in the city with its own courtyard, what else could you wish for? Victor's place is great value for money, a cute and luminous little house, spotless clean, in a quiet neighborhood of Sibiu. We felt right at home and will definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Great stay to visit Cluj, 2 min to City center

The house is amazing and very spacious. We really enjoyed our stay. All the rooms and beds were very comfortable. The house was clean and tidy. Definitely a great place to stay if you are visiting Sibiu.

The place was really very nice and clean. The view was amazing. Elena was a great host who distributed some little touches in the house and gave the whole thing extra charm. She was very polite and helpful in communication. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Talmaciu was very nice. We were warmly welcomed and got a homemade wine on the table for a welcome. The apartment is very spacious and nothing is missing. The kitchen in particular is well equipped. We were allowed to harvest vegetables and fruit in the garden, apples and pears would even be brought to us. The host was very very friendly - we felt very much and will not forget the stay in Talmaciu.

Such an amazing experience. I love all his guest houses and it's always perfect. it's a good gift for you to surprise your girlfriend/ wife :)
