Welcome to Pihlajakoski, an idyllic summer village by Lake Päijänne! Completely renovated and equipped, the log cabin combines a traditional cabin atmosphere with modern comforts. The courtyard has its own sauna and a large tub. The cottage is right in the heart of the village. In summer, there is a wonderful village culture around – Wonkamies and the harbor café are next door. For those looking for longer trips, Himos, Isojärvi National Park and the Serlachius museums are only 30-65 km away. Himos is only a 28-minute drive away!

Lovely apartment on the shore of the lake

Stay in my personal, slightly 70s-style, two-room apartment with a wood-burning sauna near the center of Orivesi. The yard has its own beach and jetty, and in winter the adjacent beach also has the city's ice swimming spot. As a special feature, there is an outdoor fireplace where you can warm up by the fireplace even in cooler weather. There is accommodation for up to 6 people. I live in the apartment with my children every other week, every other week the apartment is empty and there is an opportunity to rent it to you :).

In this unique and peaceful place, it is easy to relax and telecommuting is also possible. The small house has one large room, a kitchen, laundry facilities and a wood-fired sauna. The train is conveniently accessible and there is free parking for the car. The house is in a quiet residential area in a charming courtyard surrounded by a beautiful garden. The railway station is 300 m away, from which there are good train connections, e.g. Tampere (25 min.), Helsinki (approx. 2 h) and Jyväskylä (approx. 1 h).

Ideapark shopping center 7km.

A new, well-equipped log cabin built 2018 with a good access to the main roads and nearby cities. The cabin is located on a hill with a great view to a big lake. The cabin is surrounded by great berry forests, hiking trails and a lake rich in fish. In the cabin you have a wood burning sauna, a fireplace, a grill shelter, a hot tub and a boat. Winter time you can do cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, ice fishing and snowshoe trekking.The nearest ski center is in Sappee (30km)

Koskikara

A lovely cabin on the shore of Kalkkistenkoski. On the terace you can grill, eat, enjoy the evening sun, lounge on the deck chairs or see the local bird populations. The cabin also has a sauna, hot tub and an indoor fireplace. The cabins kitchen has the essentials for cooking and the barbeque and outdoor fireplace can also be used for cooking. The kitchen and sauna have warm water and drinking water will be delivered to the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor composting toilet.

You can also get there by bus. The villa has all the modern comforts, such as an indoor toilet and shower. Accommodates 4 adults and one child. The beach sauna is available for an additional fee (25€). The tub is available during the summer (5/1-9/30).

The apartment is separated from other spaces and has its own entrance, so you can come and go in peace. Of course, we will help you if you have any questions. In summertime it's also possible to sleep in a yurt (Mongol tent) on the yard. You can use the old log house sauna and swim in the lake. Kayaks and a row boat available. Kukkokallio is a high-quality log villa completed in June 2021 on a magnificent cliff plot opening to the west. The villa is located in Kuhmalahti, Kangasala, on the shores of Längelmävesi. The place is peaceful and the nearest neighbor is about 300 meters away. A hot tub (not a jacuzzi) is available for an additional fee of 50 EUR/day and 80 EUR/week
