We decided on a last minute March break ski trip with our teen boys. Simon’s home was a good fit with its amenities and proximity to Mont Orford as well as to Magog (for a nice dinner out and a few groceries). The boys enjoyed playing ping pong, table soccer and music on the piano. We all loved soaking in the hot tub aprés ski. We read reviews before coming so brought extra towels shampoo/conditioner. Cooking in the kitchen worked well too as the kitchen is definitely well stocked with pots, pans, cutlery and all tableware. We appreciated Simon being very responsive with messages. We we thrilled to have a little wiggle room on the check in time! We would return to Simon’s again.

We had a wonderful stay at the chalet! The view of the mountain over the frozen lake was breathtaking. The chalet itself is cosy and comfortable and the beds were extremely comfortable. The location is close to the amazing Orford national park so we were able to ski and snowshoe everyday. We truly loved our stay and Matias was a great host!

Very nice place. Loved the way the place is decorated. We felt like we were in a museum. Unfortunately, we had pouring rain all weekend so we didn’t visit the area as much as we wanted. Would definitely come back.

beautiful chalet, despite the rain beyond our control we were able to enjoy the interior decor and rest! The facilities were perfect. We forgot baby utensils and we saw a drawer with all the baby essentials! Very accommodating! I highly recommend it!

We came to Laurie's place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and get together as a family. This was successful, 1h10 from the house, we found a completely different, quiet and peaceful atmosphere like the listing. The cottage is cozy, comfortable, tidy, clean and well insulated (indeed the neighbors did ground cleaning at the chainsaw and this could hardly be heard from the inside). We found all the equipment we needed for the kitchen. A beautiful starry sky, the chirping of birds and frogs and there are beautiful places to visit very close (e.g. silver lake). We found the cottage very easily, Laurie's explanations were really very clear, and contrary to what is advertised, Google and the GPS of the car took us directly to the right place. We also enjoyed the fireplace, which immediately gives a friendly and cocooning note to the evening! Thank you!
